          I reckon Trump will use it as an excuse not to have an election, if he thinks he will lose.

            It might be the reason those entitled to Vote will apply for staying at home on Polling Day alright

            But I can’t see Trump being that absurd and fragile about his own chances of re-election

            He’s both the incumbent while the Dems are lingering and dawdling and splitting around securing an opponent

            Only a massive economic meltdown will get in his way
            IMO anyway

    This is not a dig at Mary Lou as I would not like to in her shoes, but where are all the warriors having a go at politician sending their kids to a school that can afford to go on ski trips? Goo, Mustard where are you?

      I went to a school that did trips of this kind (though not, admittedly, skiing) and the burden falls on the parent/s to pay, not the school. I funded my own school trip to France when I was 17 using money from a part time job, for example. It was a great incentive for me to save and take on a bit of extra responsibility. But I’d say it varies from school to school.

      Jeez you’re some yoke alright. Parents scrimp and save to give their children things they probably didn’t experience themselves when they were young. They’re all probably SF in your eyes. ROFL

        Nope I scrimped and scraped as well, but there were idiots on here last week saying typical middle class schools with kids going on trips etc. Look at comment below from truth in the news. As for you ROLF, you made a comment without mentioning blushirts? Are you ok? You have yet to define or even spell blueshirts.

          Truth In The News’s comment isn’t anything to do with parents being able to afford school trips or not. It’s about the inconsistency of the students views on all things green, but then taking off of a jet on a school trip.

    the effects of carbon on climate, how is this reconciled with mid terms breaks
    with overseas air travel to far flung ski resorts, could we have details of what
    schools travelled where from the HSE and Joe McHugh in the Dept of
    Education

    As I understand it; teachers often go free. They avail of free deals per X number students. Though to be fair, they probably earn it by having to bring back the same number they left with, AND hopefully not impregnated!

    No nannies or cooks or retinue of domestics to run the home- though I know some significant FF & FG households who do ) but using such family supports as available and caring in a contained environment for your children, using remote methods of work available-seems like a good idea
