Hmm.. so the HSE were asking people that were due to be tested/had been tested to stay at home (and physically keep away from other people)?

    V1. 2nd March.
And I take it that people will be tested at home only if they report symptoms. Didn’t happen in the CUH case I’d speculate.
As regards the other cases, I believe that our government (such that it is) led by a doctor, is actually not taking this as serious as it is. I’ve just been watching the news with 5 other friends, and all six of us were gobsmacked at the laissez-faire attitude of Leo Varadkar. And that isn’t my normal Leo-bashing hat on.
Location information should be made known. Not the name and address, but at least the vicinity.
There should be some sort of testing required either boarding planes, or upon disembarkation, especially from any area that the virus has been verified.
Just stopped off at a services yesterday, and the thought struck me that all of the bars, drinks, prepacked sandwiches, toys etc. are just lying there to be sneezed upon. Handled, mauled etc. Petrol pumps etc. etc. etc.

I’d almost bet my mask on it that the St. Patrick Day parade in Dublin will be cancelled. This virus is ramping up fast.

      +1

Information is power- Singapore will prove this point. We have established the boundaries of the EU with Greece so is it not time we set the boundaries within?

Yes. we are gone too much down the road of manners for show sake. No. 1 is ourselves. Time to step up to the mark and put the foot down.
