Well intentioned but stay put. Out and about is not helping and interfacing with retail is tricky.

How about WhatsApps groups with emergency contacts.

How come none of the public transport services are being canceled.

    The DART is still running

    The Luas is still running

    The Ferr is still running

With the annual flu, I don’t recall flights been cancelled, events been cancelle or similar mass gatherings.

This is a flu…. nothing more, nothing fancy, most people will be fine!

Don’t listen to hysteria which is causing social unrest.

Denial is a common tactic that substitutes deliberate ignorance for thoughtful planning- Charles Tremper.

Schools, services, etc are passing the buck – “we weren’t told to stop by the Dept of Health”.

There is no vaccine for many virus and disease; but the world keeps turning.

      Keep the hysteria going Kdoc….

Poland will close down schools, universities and cultural institutions, introducing an “effective quarantine,” ministers have announced- even though, as of today, they only have 25 cases.

This ‘nonsense’ as you put it- will save lives.

‘Help isolated people in your area’??
But they are supposed to be isolated. Are we to help them feel less isolated?
This O’Rahilly character seems to have way too much time on her hands.

She’s offering to collect medications and leave them at the door. Sounds sensible if it stops ill folk having to go out and get them, or do without them.

In fairness, if it stops her Tweeting for at least an hour, I’d run with it. She’s an insufferable attention seeker, a narcissist who probably still has her free food vouchers from the RTE Canteen.
