This could be solved quite easily by announcing a ration on more than a set number of all goods. The virus isn’t killing our food. Food producers and supply chains are as critical as healthcare workers and will continue to operate. You might see shortages of some things but this will calm down in a day or 2.
Then what’s the problem if these people want to buy stuff now?
I’m not out panic buying, but I’m not really put out by others doing it.
Bins full of spoiled food next week
Yep. This.
I noticed that fresh fruit and veg was all in plentiful supply yesterday but tinned beans, pasta, rice and crap freezer food were all gone.
If the virus doesn’t get them obesity or gout will.
Good enough for them the scumbags
I just want to put it on record that I hate every last one of these dozy ladygardens with all my soul.
You’re not stocking up for the apocalypse and if ya are, your 20 family packs of Mighty Munch aint gonna save ya. All they care about is not being inconvenienced or being without a freezer full of frozen pizzas. Morons.
Farmers rumoured to be installing security cameras and hiring security teams to guard the fields where the cows are, in the expectation that the animals may be secretly milked by passers-by during the night.
Ah – OK – I started that rumour.
It doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t happen! :-D
my Dad did that as a kid…got TB for his trouble
TB? Trampled by a Bull?
milked dairy cows…. got sick….you are talking 70 yrs ago on the border
cows have a tendency to kick out
TB = tender boopy goops
With any luck; you city slickers would try milking a bull.
Well at least one of you would be happy.
Er,….
