Very quiet on the North Commuter line this morning too. Usually no seats by Balbriggan and jammers at Donabate but seats all the way to Malahide and no cramming at all. Glad for the empty airspace around me the last few mornings.

My boss is talking about ‘chomage partiel’ as well.
At least here the government is stepping in to pay, but it’s at most 70% of my net wage. I see lots of pasta in my future.

I’m at home on parental leave for now. After the carnage in the shops yesterday, and the uncertainty coming over the next few weeks, I’ve never been happier that I keep my freezer stocked with batch cooking.

I’d love to know how many are like me – able to work from home seemlessly. If companies would do this generally (outside a time of crisis), think of how much commuting space would be freed up. Not to mention the savings on rental space for the workplace. I’m probably more productive at home, from the time saved on commuting, and the lack of office banter.

Wow. I take it all back.

Sinn Fein have been in power for less than a month and they have already solved the traffic problems.

    Up the ‘RA!
