The shuttered Temple Bar pub this afternoon
This afternoon.
The Temple Bar, Temple Bar. Dublin 2.
All pubs, including hotel bars, have been asked to close from tonight until at least 29 March, in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The Government has also strongly advised against house parties while the pubs are closed
Health Minister Simon Harris said this shutdown of bars and pubs is not an excuse to have what he termed “Covid-19 parties”.
40 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed, pubs asked to close (RTÉ)

Idiots. Time for the numpties to wise up, and the tourists to stay in their hotels/airbnbs/whatever until they can fly off home.
All my Paddy’s day gigs are cancelled.

Hopefully a two metre spread as they sign on
Genuine question but if the hotels do indeed close, what happens to those homeless families who are unlucky enough to find themselves in these hotels as emergency accommodation?
