Salthill Promenade, Galway
Yesterday.
On Salthill Promenade in Galway.
Social Democrats Councillor for Galway City East Owen Hanley writes:
“Galway City Council has painted stencils along the prom to make sure you put social distancing into practice. Two metres is more than most people imagine. If the prom is too crowded, go to Silverstrand, Ballyloughane, Barna/Merlin woods, or somewhere further afield.”

Fair dues!
They’ve put up something similar along the seaside walks near my own home. It’s good to see, even if there are a few who will never abide by it, frustratingly enough.
Remind me where that is………..
Bertie – don’t forget: your restraining order is two hundred meters!
Stupid ankle tags!
Try a wet towel, like Arnie did in total recall..
They didnt work. The prom was wedged yesterday afternoon.
Councillors have now requested they close the prom because people are morons.
Silly measures for silly decisions of not doing a proper lockdown. We will pay for these mistakes, the hammer has not come down as hard as it should have, too late now.
Remove the car park spaces on the left and there’s an extra 2 metres.
