is that not a waste of money ?

      Yes. And no.

On Monday I went for a walk in the local “park” (its a council-owner parcel of land, with a few paths… “park” seems a bit grandiose). At the first gate they had two wooden posts (2m apart) with a rope draped between and a laminated A4 “keep 2 metres apart sign” on the rope. Very simple. But hugely effective. I quickly realised that my idea of 2m wasn’t all that accurate.

Physical things are more “real” than virtual ones.

It’s because a small number of people are either not listening to any media, going online or not in contact with anyone else etc. -Probably better off at the moment.

…yep…have Dublin Millenium milk bottle from 1988 and a clipping from a letter to the IT where two girls were sheltering from the torrential rain in a doorway on O’Connell Street and one was overheard saying that it was the last bleedin’ millenium she was going to…

Leave out the knocking and be positive

      – Interesting, thanks…
“… the most important indicator for judging the danger of the disease is not the frequently reported number of positively-tested persons and deaths, but the number of persons actually and unexpectedly developing or dying from pneumonia (so-called excess mortality).

According to all current data, for the healthy general population of school and working age, a mild to moderate course of the Covid-19 disease can be expected.” – Ye, that’s what I thought..
