Britain’s Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall at the Irish Embassy in London last year

This morning.

Via The Guardian:

        I did too.

Netflix recommended the C4 show the Windsors last week and it’s quite a funny little watch.

Now that the HSE are essentially not testing for most cases (as of this morning), what should one do if you think you may have something, but not sure If it’s corona?

Thanks Janet. No, not unwell. Just curious about the advice. But in fairness, I needn’t be. You’re right, if in doubt stay home. Even if well, stay home unless you have to.

Phone your GP. I know my own GP is offering phone consultations, and if they think you need to be seen they’ll book you in.

I needed to see mine last week and they had a very strict protocol in place as regards letting people in and out of the surgery, and keeping infection and contact limited to the absolute minimum, and only where necessary.

I hope he survives. Australia will become a republic when he becomes king. If one of the next generation does, it would become more challenging.

    Anything on Prince Philip (99)?

Hasn’t been seen for yonks. Perhaps he’s been called up to drive an ambulance?

Not wishing anyone Ill, however it would be fascinating to observe how the British would react and deal with the death of a senior royal during this time – especially one of their big guns.

Be a good cliffhanger for The Crown, Series 4 if nothing else.

Hugh Leonard, love him or loath him, had some great descriptive phrases:

Having watched Prince Charlie on the telly, Leonard said it was like looking at a Land Rover with the doors open.

I seem to recall that was his review of him walking up the aisle to marry Lady Diana.
