Andrew McGinley and his now deceased children Conor, Carla and Darragh; a letter from Mr McGinley in which he has appealed for correspondence
Earlier today.
Andrew McGinley, whose three children were found dead in their Dublin home in January and for whom he launched a YouTube channel featuring videos celebrating their lives, tweeted:
I’m looking for a favour. I’m struggling with isolation like you all but really missing the company. I was also enjoying most of the letters that I received so I have a request. Can you write to me? If you feel like using one of your An Post postcards then great. Letters welcome.

Earlier: One Thing I Can Tell You
Oh my gosh, I didn’t forget about this case, but it’s amazing how quickly you put recent events to the back of your mind. I will write to Andrew.
Anyone with young ones, please, I encourage you to do the same.
+Loads!
Defo doing this.

Will be writing one tomorrow
Yes, I can and I surely will.

I wish he had included an email address so it could become more of a chat than a one-off letter. Sending him love.
a good reminder that we for the most part are lucky enough to have our annoying humans to lock dowm with
Definitely. The poor guy.
I would be cautious about sending letters, folks. The case, evidence and medical report has yet to be presented in court – due April 1st, but most likely postponed.
