for girls, who of course also use it after a wee, toilet roll is indeed quite dear – although girls do fewer poos than boys

but for boys who only need it for poos, it’s not so bad

(bodger, feel free to use this comment for any future marketing of BS)

You think that’s bad, wait til you have your time of the month, then loo roll use goes to infinity and beyond

I got some stuff the other day that had coconut oil in it, it was all that was left….
but have to say it’s very agreeable

Wasn’t it more associated with the 80s? Apparently it was the 90’s era of shower cubicles that killed off the bidet according to this: https://bespokebathrooms.ie/is-it-time-to-bring-back-the-bidet/

As toilet paper stocks run low, is it time to once again take a leaf out of the Italians’ book and bring back the bidet en masse so that we avoid this fiasco in the future? Much better for our bodily bits and the environment

I know that my mam and dad had theirs put in during the early 90s. I still remember the hideous colour scheme.

As a pub landlord once told John Mills in his days as a struggling actor selling lavatory paper door-to-door, “Well lad, the thing is, there’s 46 pages in t’Daily Mail.”

And a dishonourable mention for Nourish health food shops charging customers a whopping €45 for a bottle of Vitamin C. Vile.

All that typing with no observational skills- the retail price is as first advertised- €6,39.

If Tesco (Ireland) are charging even one cent more then they are breaking the law.

Check your friggen till receipt after purchase.

Oh and btw it is 0,00 not 0.00.

They are only breaking the law if the price at the till does not match that on the shelf. The €6.30 is, as stated, the RRP – Recommended retail price.

To force a shop to use the RRP would actually be illegal as it breaches competition law. A shop is not breaking the law by charging more than their competitors. They have the choice to do it – you have the choice to shop elsewhere

It’s strange days indeed, I”m delighted I can get out for a couple of hours shopping tomorrow. Wednesday is
my preferred day. Wearing latex gloves and facemask. Like a scene from a real low budget Sci Fi .
