Never understood why BS TV has so many contributors. Why not just have one in-depth interview with someone who’s interesting? The danger always remains that you’ve more contributors than viewers.

I think they should dispense with this daftness and do podcasts of “it says in the papers” every night.

Are you changing your tune – for the last 3 weeks you have been screaming for a lockdown. Now are you saying we overreacted?

As for the Prof. I dunno, Germany has low deaths:
The German COVID deaths are total 920; (+130 two days ago; +145 yesterday) but there are usually, on average, 2500 deaths per day in Germany – so that is ~6% – noise.
UK, COVID deaths are total 2,357; (+383 two days ago; +564 yesterday) but there are usually, on average, 2000 deaths per day in UK – so that is now hitting 25% of daily deaths.

I reserve to the right to change my opinion regularly and often. If I had seen this on the published date of 28.03.2020- I would have probably done so earlier.

Dunno. The Prof was blaming the air quality of Northern Italy for the bad reactions – it’s “the China of Europe”…but it is looking like the UK (who took too long to lockdown) is following Italy (who took too long to lockdown)- do the UK have bad air quality too?

Well London certainly does- I can’t even be in the place for nine months of the year these days.

May I make a suggestion to one or two of you?

Lift your camera or device up to at least eye level- much more flattering and you will tend to sit straighter.

So many people are making this mistake right now when doing remote video calls- peering down into a camera is a very unprofessional look so stick at least two phone books under the laptop. Just think it as the same as a selfie where you are always looking upwards?

…may I make a suggestion…maybe you stop this commenter from making continuous dangerous falsehoods based on quasi-science…

Hydroxychloroquine ‘quackery’ is already being used in Irish hospitals against COVID-19- do try to keep up dear?

For all those staying in tonight can anyone explain why the price of home heating oil in Westmeath is €469.00 for 1000 litres in Westmeath and €590.00 for 1000 litres in Cork?

It’s safe to say that even if there was no virus, each of these would still be stuck in on a Thursday night…on their own.

and yet there you were at 9.30pm on a Thursday night, anonymously answering a question that nobody asked.
who’s the sad tosser now, eamon?
