That “so” at the end of the first line of the paragraph of text is upsetting my designers eye. Other than that, I found this utterly charming.

It’s my birthday soon. I plan on celebrating in full sobriety and eating a cake entirely by myself.

Having my cake and eating it, if you will.

i would smear the cake all over my naked self and run around for a while – i’d have my cake and streak it.

It’s my son’s birthday today, we are currently trying to work out what the best takeaway options are – first and second preference were not available :-(

Happy birthday to the young lad. Birthdays under lockdown are hard on the kiddos. Half of my kid’s class have had their birthday in the past 6 weeks and almost all of them have had the birthday plans derailed.

I can relate re the takeaway situation. My local Chinese has been closed for three weeks now and I’d only murder someone for a spring roll.

i drove past a chinese a few weeks ago and people were actively avoiding it, preferring to go to the dominos pizza (which is rank) instead. i don’t think i’ll ever look at a singapore fried noodles the same way after this.

noticed a lot of casual racism and not so casual in the RTE live comments alone, very saddened
