A relentless focus on seeming bad behaviour of a minority may have the unintended consequence of suggesting to those adhering to guidelines, at great personal cost, they shouldn’t bother.
We can positively reinforce good behaviour, as well as proportionately criticising the bad

FIGHT!
Meanwhile…
This morning.
South Dublin County Council tweetz:
We had an issue yesterday at one of our playgrounds where people had clearly taken down our closure signage and brought their kids in. Simply put, don’t do this and we will notify An Garda Síochána if we see this happening. Social Distancing is as important now as it has ever been.
Lock up your children.

Maybe this should be left at the gate of that playground
The Director of Critical Care Medicine at the Mater Hospital in Dublin has said the intensive care unit there is full and some patients, who have been ventilated, have been moved to the high dependency unit for care.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland, Dr Colman O’Loughlin said that most of the patients in the 18 ICU beds are Covid-19 patients.
Dr O’Loughlin, who is President of Intensive Care Society of Ireland, said he is already beginning to get referrals from the wards this morning, where some patients are beginning to deteriorate.

“The amount of violations of human rights in a country is always an inverse function of the amount of complaints about human rights violations heard from there. The greater the number of complaints being aired, the better protected are human rights in that country.” ― Daniel Patrick Moynihan

Imagine what their AGM must be like
Welcome to our omnipresent surveillance state.
What’s your problem? The local authority doing its job?
They’ll be watching you.
See, this is why you were warned about watching conspiracy theory videos on YouTube.
And now look at ya, up since the crack of dawn posting on every lockdown related thread..
What is your problem? Keeping people safe or letting gobsheens ruin it for everyone. But you can’t trust health care experts or the media on this. They just want you to stay at home for some reason. Go lick a toilet fool.
Lot of Dublin virus spreaders making their way to holiday homes across the country…..is what I here…
i’ve a good mind to drive down the n11, coughing and spluttering out the window.
The Spawell Roundabout would be the spot for a few checkpoints alright
‘Sanctimony…’
Ironic
Every supermarket I’ve been in has idiots standing too close. One of my neighbours insists on having extended family over regularly with up to a dozen people across three generations standing beside each other.
They’re are significant amounts of morons who will not act responsibly and will indirectly be responsible for killing people.
I was listening to a podcast the other day where they were interviewing a behavioural scientist. He said research shows that, in general, 15% of the population just won’t follow measures put in place “for the public good”. This percentage can be reduced by public disapproval for those not following the rules, but it cannot ever be eliminated (outside a dictatorship).
In short, idiots gonna idiot.
