Fine Gael and Fiánna Fail have signed a commitment to form a Government – 8 TDs short? Is SF so bad that they collectively think that Ireland is better served by any party but themselves? Ádh mhór to democracy.

If only they could garner as much support in the Dail. Where it really matters at this time. Clearly nobody wants anything to do with them in there. Who could blame them?
GiggidyGoo
Of course FFG don’t want SF to be in power – too many lids to be lifted on what FFG have been up to over the years.
But the inbreeding of FF and FG will only be good for democracy here, as now there is a clear distinction between government and opposition.
If the Greens, Labour and SDs enter with FFG, it’ll for for one of two reasons. Either a death wish, or a case of waiting for an early opportune moment to bring down the ‘new’ government. The Greens and Labour already have had their experiences of FFG. Maybe time for payback.
MaryLou's ArmaLite
Most people don’t want SF IRA to be in power because a vote for SF/IRA is a vote for murder
Rosette of Sirius
Regardless. Nobody, it seems, is prepared to do business with SF. Take out FF & FG and there’s a majority there that could form a government. So there’s a particular taint on SF and their IRA brethren that no matter how hard they try scrub it off, it remains unpalatable.

So the comment made by Eamonn Holmes is being accessed by Ofcom because of 419 complaints. All Eamonn said was that mainstream media could not possibly know if there was side effects to 5G and he is 100% correct- how could they?
Link below is of a lecture by Dr. Lennart Hardell is a professor in oncology and cancer epidemiology at the University Hospital in Orebro, Sweden.
No doubt someone will do a quick google and say his studies have been rebuked but the point is that are plenty of scientific opposition to the roll out of 5G. People who are way more knowledgeable on the subject than a bunch of journalists.
Erecting 5G masks during lockdown is highly insensitive , so much for transparency.

Agreed but not one politician or representative of the telecoms industry will come out and say that the installation of 5G is essential work- because it is not.
Cian
Communications is essential during the lockdown. Adding bandwidth is necessary.
Adding bandwidth is not the same as installing 5G- very few if any even have 5G compatible devices at the moment.

“There is simply no evidence to support worrying about phones or masts when talking about cancer risk,” according to a guide by the Irish Cancer Society on the 5G health question.
“The changes to frequency used by technology such as 5G mean that these signals cannot even penetrate the human body. We know of no fundamental biophysical or biochemical mechanism for these signals to interact with important cellular functions.”
Brussels would disagree , and as HQ of EU it’s surely not allaying concerns.
ReproBertie
Brussels has radiation guidelines which are much more strict than any other city in Belgium. This has caused them problems when trying to get 4G up and running and these guidelines have been in place since long before 5G came along.
None of this means that Brussels would disagree with the Irish Cancer Society’s statement, no matter what anti-5G websites would have you believe.

The 5G service refers to mobile phone data only and that is very limited but, already there are issues with people putting their houses up for sale in the proximity.
You’ll know when 5G is really being rolled out because they’ll start felling the roadside trees- because for line of sight they’ll they have to.

If it’s a remake of David Lynch’s version it will likely be a complete failure.. or a deeply flawed waste of time at best.
However, if it’s based on the original genius by Alejandro Jodorowsky… All his hard work adapting the novel, script, treatment and his amazingly detailed artistic storyboard / graphic novel and notorious sci-fi blueprint… that was completely ripped off by everyone in film for years since.. including star wars btw.. then it has a decent chance at greatness…
I’m expecting it to be more likely the former and not the latter… or worse, somewhere in between.
