Is Ricky Gervais currently stuck in Ireland or will he be flying over?
Essential travel? Honestly the tv heads and pop culture know no bounds when it comes to dissonance or conflicting ideas.

Will we see critical tweets about this on Friday night or is the hysteria and delusion that strong and Ricky just shiny enough to distract?

Why is the late late show even on with live guests?
It’s non essential and here we have guests I’m sure live 2km from the studio coming in, meanwhile they are locking up some for being 2km away from home.
Suppose that’s logic in a police state.
Graham norton is doing all his interviews via video link.

The late late can now be used against the state in court proceedings.

He might be doing a bit of fruit picking for Keelings…Apparently they can bypass all restrictions to bring in who they like.

I hope Ricky rips them a new one.

    The rest – recycled.

Next week: Rory Best, Domnhall Gleeson, Sinead Burke, Aslan, Mick McCarthy, Ardal O’Hanlon, Ed Byrne…..another rugby player with book….

I’m not sure that’s fair, like his stuff or not it’s a hard time for artists and imagine your lock down with no art, no music, no theater, no books.. personally I enjoy his podcasts half of the time and that’s a high score :)

I wonder if, for the 4th week in a row, they will decide to dedicate the entire show to discussing Covid 19. That would be great. It’s not as though people need some escapism or anything..

Agreed. Love to hear a discussion on:

      1) Why was the country stiffed for 4 million in a Chinese transaction for PPE?
      2) Why is testing now at such as low rate?
      3) Why is there no reagent in the country?
      4) Why are deaths in nursing homes not recorded as part of the Coronavirus figures?
      5) Is this the surge?
      6) When are all the Spanish students arriving again?

Instead of the usual irrelevance of:

      1. Should we all wear masks?
      2. Should we be like Sweden?
      3. When will Irish funerals return to normal as social events and we can get back to dying from the usual stuff?
      4. Are runners the new cyclists?
      5. …

Or maybe Ryan can tell us why the late late show is an essential service ,people are in a rage about the WWE and Vince McMahon looking to be declared essential.
The selective amnesia/blinker effect of the covid 19 simulacrum is a sight to behold.
