“something you would expect to see in a porno movie”.

If I see a man in my porn it’ll be due to a typo.

I’ll never forget the episode of liveline where someone rang up to complain about her grandson listening to ‘212’ by Azaelia Banks; I’d say his researchers were peeing their pants laughing as they printed off a transcript of the lyrics for him to read.

I met a fella who did admin in the seanad, he said he had a friend who worked on the liveline research team. Her job was to humour the callers who were too loopy to go on air

You just reminded me of the time my brother thought it a good idea to watch Bad Santa with my septuagenarian parents… >_<

The line… “I ain’t sh** right for a week” had me climbin’ the walls in my head :)

Mary doesn’t get out much, you’d see more tits on any beach warm enough to get them out

Yes indeed, an art class in a tech I think involving a nudie model. Jeez the whole country nearly imploded.
It was pulled….and so was the programme.

Was that the secondary school thing?

      With evening classes
One was how to maintain your fur coat
And the other how to scrub a stone floor

All episodes are on the bbc iplayer. Install Hola for chrome and enter a random UK postcode when setting up your iplayer account and you’re good to go

    The Spike.
David Kelly was the Arts lecturer and the model was behind a frosted glass panel so the viewers couldn’t see the outright nudity. The series finished that night and the last 2 episodes were never shown. Maybe the series is still in the RTE archives but it has never been seen since.
One of the leaders of an anti pornography campaign was taken to hospital with a suspected heart attack later that night.
    Innocent times indeed

Ok. 5 episodes in and my conclusion is it’s a gorgeous piece of TV let alone Irish TV. Will have to see where it goes but for now, it’s simply gorgeous.
