This morning.
“Last night I signed the regulations to extend those (Garda) powers so it does remain the law of the land that you need to stay within 5 kilometers of your home except for the exceptions to that.”
Minister for Health Simon Harris on RTÉ Radio One’s Morning Ireland.
Um.
Anyone?
Meanwhile…

Hmm.
UPDATE: Seapoint is part of a phased re-opening of beaches (see comments)
“This is the scene… ” is a line that should be saved for something more dramatic, in fairness.

Beaches can reopen where social distancing can be practiced. Local Authorities are not required to open all beaches today.

If CassandraVoices checked the DLR website or Facebook they’d see the schedule of reopening that was posted last week. Seapoint is opening on Tuesday, followed by Sandycove and the Forty Foot on Wednesday. There’s a very comprehensive and transparent list on the site that spells it out and saves the outrage.
Perhaps BS could amend this article to post that link: http://www.dlrcoco.ie/en/council-democracy/customer-care-communications/dlr-reopening-roadmap
