Eblana Theatre, Store Street, Dublin 1
Originally built under Busarus in 1959 to entertain waiting passengers. It was open until 1995.

Always thinking about the abandoned theatre under Busáras…

If I won the lotto I would buy this and open an independent cinema IMMEDIATELY that’s also does sweaty raves in the PM https://t.co/dT7S5HFo0a

‘YOLKS’ Bodge? What is this – a rave for chickens?
Good grief. Sorry, Tony, fixed now. Head is scrambled, etc.
*disappointed hen puts eggs-tacy tab away again
Hehehehehe
Wanted to photograph this for my Masters project a few years back (cinemas and theatres in Ireland) but wasn’t granted permission due to health concerns as it is supposed to be incredibly dusty. It’s directly under the rear concourse with buses moving over the roof all day long, shaking loose all sorts of things into the theatre.
Glad to have seen those photos though. Thanks.
Fantastic stuff, never knew about this.
+1

It’s ages since you flapped Fluffy.
Always makes me smile.

Could be a great gay club. Thespians and Lesbians
I saw a couple of plays there in the early 90s and even stood on the stage to audition. A great little theatre and I was sad to see it go.
