This photo is believed to be taken circa mid 50’s and would be two of the Coyne brothers. Dermot & Brendan Coyne. The area Callachnoic is half way between Cashel and Carna just before you come to Glynsk House...

Connemara truly is one of the most beautiful places in the world; if only it weren’t for the truly shocking weather…
Totally agree,if you do get the weather, having spent quite bit time traveling about there is nowhere as stunning and beautiful on a sunny afternoon/evening.
Haven’t been able fly home with all the restrictions and have say the ‘sheet pics are making me homesick:)
Partially agree. The rain can be diabolical but it is the most beautiful place in the world to watch it rain.
Sheets of it blowing across Killary Harbour and Maam valley, the streams of water glittering down the hillside when the sun peeks out.
A molten hot toastie and seven pints of Guinness in Keane’s. I’ll buy that place one day and I’ll be happy.
You live out (vaguely) that way, if I remember correctly?
a bit away but not so far that you can’t drive there of a sunday
I’m incredibly envious. Someday, someday.
Many is the Sunday that was spent in Keane’s pub. I’ve not been in years.
We truly are blessed
I look out every day to a view as stunning
Aren’t those the two who set up Stripe? They’re fairly coyning it now
Can’t wait for a trip down the sticks.
