Behold: the 1957 Willys FC-150 pickup, 30,000 of which were made between 1957 and 1963.
Dinky yet utilitarian and benefitting from a full Concours restoration in 2013, this 72bhp forward control (cab-over) oddity with a mere 65,000km on the clock comes up for auction next month.

loud and smelly in that cab no doubt
That was a common arrangement in larger trucks as well, where the engine was partially within the cab and just a metal cowling protecting it. This coupled with a lack of power steering, meant that truck-driving was a very different experience back then.
I once drove an old Bedford ambulance which was somewhat similar – engine pretty much between the seats. Now, it was old, so loud and smelly was par for the course anyway :-)
cute! Cute! CUTE!
Indeed; it’s like an extra from Toy Story!
very sweet
Yis wouldn’t being saying that if it had a been built in the Soviet Union.
How do you get four elephants on it?
Two in the front cabin.
Two in the back trailer.
