Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said the Government has proposed that elements of Phase 3 of lifting of restrictions could be brought forward into Phase 2. He said this would be subject to Cabinet approval.
He added elements of Phase 4 could be brought forward into Phase 3.
Mr Varadkar was responding to the leader of the Green Party, Eamon Ryan, who asked for more guidance for businesses which were planning to reopen this summer.
Speaking in the Dáil, he said he is confident that we can advance to Phase 2 of the roadmap to reopen the country on Monday.

Meanwhile…
The Dáil’s #Covid19ireland committee had hoped to meet this morning to hear video-link evidence from the WHO and ECDC – but had to put it back a week, on the basis that they hadn’t figured out how the contributions-from-afar could be linked to the TV broadcasting feed

Good times.
Roadmaps should refer to roads. More American corporate gobbledygook being foisted on us.
Jesus t’night
These lads don’t know what they’re at from one day to the next
tis like they’re waiting for the instructions to arrive
Not that they give a shy&e
They’re not in the slightest bit put out
In fact Leo gets to be Taoiseach instead of job sharing it with Meehall
or dossing over on the opposition benches
feck’ it if they were all on the Covid Payment from the start of this the Leaving Cert would have kicked off today
