Trump could rape and maim live on TV and it will still be a close race….problem being you have a fairly beige uninspiring candidate in Biden going up against an entity that will cheat and lie and do whatever it takes to win…but even worse I think the Trump dynasty is merely a willing and suitable figurehead for the much bigger problem – Pence’s gang of deeply conservative religious scheming zealots (and those who follow whose voting intentions won’t have budged an iota by anything Trump destroyed or botched) aided and abetted by your more regular mainstream albeit conflicted Republicans reps and their multipurpose toolkit William Barr….all with one bullseye aim: the overturning of Roe v Wade. well ultimately that’s what I believe it’s all about at the heart of it all, I think every remaining good thing we know of America is under threat here
Have a read of this if you have 15 mins to spare, Barr is a straight scary individual, his view is a hierarchical authoritarian one that a top-down ordering of society will produce a more moral society, Handmaids Tale territory, and all that has to happen for him is to fill the courts with his people and spin some alternative facts:

Approx. 80% of world trade is in dolla bills y’all.. Yet 80% of long-suffering American people are living paycheck to paycheck and would not financially be able to survive a 500 dolla health emergency without serious consequences or worse if even that well off to begin with.
It’s mostly down to bad economics and institutionally ingrained greedy, classist and racist ideaologies.

Hi GB-i did read it as his standing goes further down the chances of a comeback dim.
The focus here at moment is on the virus,criminal justice, and race relations,areas and issues he has not done well with,if that focus changes to immigration and the economy he has a shot.
But the death toll here continues climb and will be approaching 200,000 by end summer-thats a lot dead bodies to step over at the voting booth.

He’s done a tremendous amount damage to the military, they are now viewed as a occupying force by many and are NOT welcome in the streets of the US-if they sent them into Brooklyn the place will erupt, we have almost 3 million people here,there is no chance the Nat Guard or US Military will try “police” Brooklyn or NY.

Esper (Sec of Def) and Milley (Chair Joint Chiefs Staff) have now both come out in public and condemned the photo op and The Battle of Lafayette Square.
All this is playing in to his base who are seeing him as the “Wartime President” analogy….
It’s ugly stuff but there are literally hundreds of examples of this up and down and accross all elements of how the state is operating.
The republicans have for a long time now, stopped being a political party and no real classical or true conservatives remain or have any power in the gop anymore. All the respectable, moderate and intelligent minds have been driven out and only the mercenary opportunists remain.
As a result you get drumpf to keep the plebs busy while the real and massive exponential growth of corruption accelerates year on year.
