Dr David Nabarro of the World Health Organisation

This morning.

The World Health Organization’s special envoy on Covid-19, Dr David Nabarro, wass speaking to the Oireachtas Special Committee on Covid-19.

Dr Nabarro has said it is “highly unlikely” and “really surprising” that Ireland would go into total lockdown again – however local areas might see movement restrictions due to clusters.

He also said it is “reasonable” to suggest that commuters should wear face coverings to protect drivers and attendants.

Dr Nabarro, meanwhile, has advocated for face masks, and said while it is up to national governments to decide their policy on face coverings he wanted to encourage people to “take the advice super seriously and get into the habit of doing it”.

Hmm.

With these numbers its staring to look like genocide,it was a deliberate policy decision to murder these old people and force them to die harrowing lonely deaths,I just hope the voters remember the mendacity and disingenuous of FFG in trying spin this policy decision.

“Across the State, the number of people aged over 65 has risen by almost one fifth (19 per cent) since 2011, the largest increase in any of age group category analysed. This is primarily due to declining death rates.”

Ok Senicide -i was trying avoid being obtuse.

In Japan its know as “Ubasute” as wonderfully depicted in the classic The Ballad of Narayama.

-The film is set in a small rural village in Japan in the 19th century. According to tradition, once a person reaches the age of 70 he or she must travel to a remote mountain to die of starvation, a practice known as ubasute-

I have no doubt Dr. David Nabarro is making these predictions about Ireland, because he is assuming our health service is fit for purpose, it isn’t as anyone who lives in Ireland would know.
Ireland is at full capacity, almost all the time apart from during this lockdown, when treatments and procedures have been cancelled.
We are winging it, with an incompetent in charge as Minister and another one in charge of the HSE.

The care homes fatality rate is coming to a hospital near you eventually.
