The Twitter purge of the anti-woke gathers pace.
      She had 1.1 million followers.
I would imagine all your followers could hold a get-together in a photo booth.

Not sure I’d equate being a follower with being a fan.
I’ve never been on social media but I read a number of people’s accounts to find out their views even though I don’t always agree with them.

That won’t warm her to Salmon, though, because she’d be in favour of giving poor people health care and doing something about climate change.

What makes me laugh is that they all think this is the end for Kettie
        She’ll just reinvent herself again
A crafty savvy smart opportunist who is nobodies fool
Don’t let her few smack downs fool ye

I’m also surprised at the amount of local twitters that are comparing her to the award winning Journalist and unsuccessful election candidate

IMO they are very different, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Kettie herself makes that very clear in the near future

I suppose they’re looking at Milo as an example of what happens when you lose access to an audience. From media darling to irrelevance since he was removed.

          1. Vanessanelle

            Milo is a kid
An office junior compared to Kettie

            Watch her reinvent herself
She’ll be a lobbyist, board director
            Maybe Foreign Office Trade something
Whatever ultra corporate evangelist big business brexiteering billions are looking for
She’s going to be there somewhere on the 6 to 7 figure payroll

Kettie might have lost a direct line to over a million followers
But she was only ever interested in getting herself in front of a half a dozen players and decision makers
She stands her ground, full faced, and isn’t a bit afraid of opposition
And will take on anyone in an arguement
            Win or lose

She’s as crafty as she is shameless

        You’re welcome.
It’s the diversity of opinion I like so much such as the pro and anti Briexit/Boris in the same edition.
Nothing worse for narrowing the mind than existing in an echo chamber.

Martin Wolf the éminence grise of the far right FT-when you’ve lost the Wolf…the incompetence in the UK is just staggering-from Great Britain to a laughing stock, with a semi literate soccer thug, getting a piece in the once venerable Spectator-glad I cancelled that sub….

“The latest economic forecasts from the OECD are only a little less sobering. Even in its “single hit” scenario, which assumes no further waves of the pandemic, the UK economy would shrink 11.5 per cent this year. With a destructive second wave, the economy is forecast to shrink 14 per cent. Spain is the only OECD member that might experience a larger economic decline this year than the UK.”

      ICI 7/10.
Even at the weekend there’s no rest for this poster’s feelings of inferiority, sweltering away under the ginger wig and leprachaun hat he’s wearing.

-more like waking and baking its a sunny Saturday, just back from nice long beach run, happy report no wig or hat, shorty shorts and topless:)
-it some ways it is rather amusing to read about the goings on in that little isolated island, from a dry perspective the tales of a few fat dads who can’t get laid and swing handbags at each other on Saturdays is comical..cmon the hammers oi!

Dalkey gets a full Wall St Journal feature- weekend edition -lots property porn, this jumped out and surprised me, some stunning photos.

-Enya has a home there, there. Bono does, too. A look at the seaside village’s high-end home market, which has become a hotspot for A-listers and the country’s upper crust-

“Despite several years of sustained price growth in Dalkey, real-estate values are down 33% compared to 2007, when, Mr. Lyons said, an average home in the village sold for just over $1.23 million.”

The person in the other post is notoriously litigious and may take advantage of Irelands antiquated libel laws-i doubt its in any way personal-most likely just extra cautious-but fair play Broadsheet for publishing that letter and keeping comments open that takes some big liathróidí .

        Those allowed through is telling

        Now in moderation?

For being repeatedly strident and aggressive and a bit of a bore?

Maybe reign it in a bit?

        Gotcha.

Oh and in terms of shock horror, melting permafrost in Siberia caused a fuel spill so massive and destructive Putin had to declare it a national emergency. You’re right, it’ll take a lot more than taxes.
