Wouldn’t mind giving it a go myself, I’ve a nice posterior. I’d have to cover up my distinctive tramp stamp though

I’d probably go with Janis’ ‘Pearl’ cover – but that’s too easy I suppose

Maybe one of Aretha’s or Dusty’s – just for the Glam of the big hair and tailored frocks. Like there’s one of Aretha’s where she’s in a angel white opal kinda sequined halter neck, with matching earrings; I’d love to give that look a go

And in fairness Blondie’s ‘4(0) Ever’ is probably easily done
(By someone who knows what they’re at like)

Why make it about age FFS

Make it about a form of art – album covers
      That’s making a comeback anyway

And some of those records btw are nearly 40 years old, shur’ Bowie’s must be nearly 50

Pretty short tempered, and narrow minded to think these older people didn’t know who they were portraying.

      I think it’s a lovely project

People should wind their necks in, and stop assuming older people have no minds of their own

I saw these a few days ago but in the context of an online debate as to whether it indicated of a form of elder abuse going on at the care home. I do wonder what significance if any, those albums would have to the people in the photos.Could it be a case of bored care workers keeping themselves amused more than a meaningful activity for the elderly residents?

If they didn’t want to do it, how could they have achieved so many perfectly posed recreations?

Hey little girl, is your daddy home?
Did he go away and leave you all alone? Mhmm
    I got a bad desire
Oh oh oh, I’m on fire

Tell me now, baby, is he good to you?
And can he do to you the things that I do? Oh no
    I can take you higher
Oh oh oh, I’m on fire

Sometimes it’s like someone took a knife, baby
Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley
Through the middle of my skull

At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
And a freight train running through the middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
Oh oh oh, I’m on fire
Oh oh oh, I’m on fire
Oh oh oh, I’m on fire

    Woo ooh ooh
    Woo ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh
    Woo ooh ooh
    Woo ooh ooh

Best lyrics ever when you are belting along in the dark on the coast roaring your head off along
