Double Yellow Line.
Just can’t stop these FFers disregarding the rules of the road.
And a Garda looking on.
it’s good to be the king.
The driver is (probably) a Garda.
The driver is (probably) still in the car.
That place is specifically designed for people to drop off passengers – i.e. stop the car, passenger gets out, car drives off.
He is the Taoiseach. For security purposes his driver can do things that ordinary people can’t.
You can stop on a double yellow e.g. a taxi to pick up or drop off, or to actively load/unload – for a maximum of 30 minutes, no less.
You just can’t park there.
In London, and maybe other UK cities, they have double reds which mean don’t even think about stopping, never mind the parking.
I think the real question here is, does he have clown feet?
Jack Chambers named new chief whip? He’s barely finished his confirmation FFS
But he’s a snake
And he’s the lad to put out a whispering campaign without anyone noticing
oh yeah, I can see this. IDEAL candidate.
Micheal Martin showing us now in leaders questions why he is not leadership material. On the ropes.

lol
Any dream will do for Dara.
“We had a very difficult conversation. I told him I was disappointed. I had hoped to lead a department, it had always been my ambition, and it remains my ambition today. It will happen, it will absolutely happen.”
“Cowen”
What could possibly go wrong…
what is it with RTE – Newreader introduces a story…. then correspondent does a recorded piece, back to Studio and then they do a live correspondent QA…. if its a quickly developing story then i would agree with that but it never is… are they trying to justify themselves? Give us the facts and move on, there now!
Stop watching the news.
I counted 5 ‘reporters’ on one story a couple of months ago.
Newsreader reads story
Two correspondents on screen, telling us what the newsreader could tell us
Back to the RTE correspondent sitting opposite the newsreader, telling us what the two earlier ones told us
Then to another correspondent on screen, again telling us what we could have been told earlier.
God be with Charles Mitchell- read the news with all the details gathered from the various correspondents. Job done. 10 minute news.
i thought people just took some random nutter’s opinion from twitter to be ‘the news’?
Well if you say so, that’s what I’ll do from now on.
No – mostly, they start there alright. From then on, it’s all hands on deck to make it into a mini-series. RTE have a Twitter account though – doubtful that these highly paid reporters are the ones contributing to it. But here’s your 6-1 news this evening. Let’s see how many reporters get in on this.
