Oooooh. Look at my lovely beemer.

Whats the difference between a Beemer and a hedgehog. the pri**s are on the outside of the hedgehog

But but but – Coveney? Maybe it’s a case of ‘Well, if Coveney can get one, then so can I’

Sure, add in a few extra advisors as well. Plenty of room in the back.

          Coveney isn’t Minister for Agriculture.
Coveney made a case as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence.

Odd then that Thomas Byrne was telling Mcfadden that he, McFadden, would get a job as one of his drivers – that he was sure of getting the education ministry.

Did Helen McEntee have a driver by the way?

Anyway, maybe Calleary has also made a case – he’s looking ever-so-lovingly at the beemer.

          2. Cian

I don’t know about Byrne or McFadden. My understanding that the drivers are always Gardaí – so unless Mcfadden is a Garda he’s blowing hot air.
            I don’t think Helen McEntee had a car/driver.
The last Minister for Defence did :-)

You’re reading a huge amount into a photo. He might not be looking at the car – we don’t know what is outside the photo.

Doesn’t matter what Coveney is or isn’t. He got what he wanted even though he wasn’t entitled to it. The same then with Calleary perhaps.

Maybe I am reading too much into it. Maybe he’s just doing it to impress.

Lucky we have Giggidy on hand to provide a commentary on the wider political implications of a man looking in the general direction of a car.

Well, you spew forth your nonsense over every thread going, it’s kind of hard to avoid it

I’m not sure you understand what a troll is: a portion of the posts I make on this site are in response to your stupid ideas; I’m sorry that this upsets you.

The new Minister of Agriculture will have two drivers at his disposal. Even the Minister of State at Agriculture has a driver at her disposal.

Excellent! FF are now internally tearing themselves apart. Soon they will be even less relevant than the Labour party. May we have the next government scandal now please :)

I’m guessing his toys are back in the pram now? “I want a ministerial position NOW or I’m not talking to you Michael”

reckon he’s really excited to be tackling the job? .. or .. to have a place at the trough.

Isn’t it great to be second best for the job all the same ?
Somehow the smugness shines through the clouds of not getting it day one.
That headline made me chortle rather loudly – Well Done

  6. george

Its really all about him isn’t it? Smug.

That doesn’t look like a man who is delighted to be serving the public. Looks like a man who is delighted he got a big job.
