It hardly needs saying that this is the GPO, Dublin, c1970sm, when you could park where you liked. (Jill Uris) pic.twitter.com/kQeLOe1WyD

The great old days.
Name those casually slung jam jars, anyone?

Love this, thanks!
Great photos of paramilitaries in Jills book on Ireland. She had a camera that was set up to take photos at a right angle so the thugs wouldn’t cop on.
Oooh tricky:
Front left orange kinda like a Mk4 Zodiac judging by the vent.
Opel Commodore(?)
Hillman Avenger.
Difficult to identify rest of this line
Next line:
Austin 1100
Beetle
Fiat 850
next 3?
White Mk1 Escort estate.
Skip 1
Another Beetle?
Triumph Herald convertable
And probably a Mk 1 Ford Capri passing by the GPO.
I thought the left one at front was a Cortina MkII, largely due to the narrower C-pillar that on the Zephyr, but my brain is fried today, and thinking it was a Red Cortina led my down a rabbit hole of songs about cars, starting with the obvious :-)
You may be correct, I didn’t think the mk2 Cortina had that vent at the c-pillar…but it does!
Nerdsville or wha’?
Apparently same designed for both, so similarities are likely, I guess.
We did have one also, but in burgundy, with a front bench seat and column gears. Bought shortly after I was born as our family was now larger. Those were the days of no seatbelts, and fitting 2 adults and 9 children in one car. And one I thought was large, until I came across one as an adult.
DeLorean just out of picture to the right.
there you go Paulus , I haven’t a barney about cars
