Clouds are created when water vapor, an invisible gas, turns into liquid water droplets. These water droplets form on tiny particles, like dust, that are floating in the air.
Slightly Bemused
They are a form of cirrus clouds, possibly cirro-cumulus is my guess.
Very high altitude, formed with smaller droplets and probability of ice particles.
Brother Barnabas
bit much a fellow called Cloudy coming on here and asking us the name of clouds
Clampers Outside
God’s cape dragging behind him as he takes a walk… he’s an uncouth messiahy fecker that fella.
My next door neighbours kid saw this on my phone (safely, I assure you), and called the cloud Graham.
Graham! ?
Next thing we will be calling hurricanes Bill, or Joe!
What I want to know is – are the other clouds morphing into raging Cumulonimbi at the sight of Graham winning again for the third time this year? Some heard grumbling darkly about contrail theories and vapour injections!

All hail Cloud Graham!

They also do a Boadsheetesque “Clouds That Look Like Things”:

The lad who started it, Gavin Pretor-Pinney had a BBC4 documentary called Cloudspotting:
