US residents in all 50 states reported getting the unsolicited seed packages…

Via The New York Post:

An Arkansas man who received one of the mysterious seed packages sent to thousands of US residents from China planted them on his property — and said the results are wild.

“We … planted the seeds just to see what would happen,’’ Booneville resident Doyle Crenshawn told local CBS-TV affiliate KSFM.

The plant is producing large white fruit from orange flowers that resemble those of a squash.

“Every two weeks I’d come by and put Miracle-Gro on it, and they just started growing like crazy,’’ Crenshawn said.

This could also be a scam that was almost successful on me. I ordered an electronic component from China. A package arrived, registered letter. Actually, it was just a letter that arrived, not a package, so I didn’t open it, got onto eBay + Paypal and eventually found that the seller would send out a letter with something cheap light in it (plastic bracelet or whatever) , but just so he could get a signed proof of delivery. Took a month or so, but got the money back.

    This could be similar?

I’d probably 3 bad experiences over 6 years on eBay with sellers, but got sorted on each occasion.
I have actually just bought something off Aliexpress two weeks ago, supposedly shipping from France but not even posted yet. Probably a drop-shipping effort.

They believe it is just a way of generating fake sales on sites like amazon and ebay so they can leave themselves positive reviews.

Something sinister is a foot from China! They have seriously upped their aggression in their actions and their speeches from spokespersons. Their trading and reputation has been severely affected by their botched shutdown of the covid 19 virus. They have achieved self sufficiency in every way so now they are looking to expand their territory and damage the west. They want to dominate everything, President Xi is the authoritarian successor to Mao. They also just sentenced another Canadian citizen to death for drugs! To death! Don’t go to China, especially if you are from US or Canada.

Oh yes! There is also the forced indoctrination of the Uyghuirs in west China. They are attempting a genocide on their culture by forcing them into concentration camps, sterilizing the woman, removing organs for sales to medical facilities, torturing both men and women. The biggest operation of its kind since Germany committed genocide on the Jews in WW2. The problem is, they have paid off the political class in the west to turn a blind eye to it all with massive amounts of cash. That’s why so many EU countries are still dealing with them

It’s called brushing. Sellers create fake customer accounts, buy their own products—usually very cheap or worthless versions of products—and send them to people’s homes in other countries. The online customer accounts might be fake, but the addresses are real, and the sellers can then use those accounts to register real deliveries, post glowing reviews of the products, and improve their rankings on e-commerce sites like Amazon or eBay
