A Limerick A Day

at

Doheny & Nesbit, Baggott Street, Dublin 2 has hit a major downturn with an absence of office workers and tourists in the area

Pre-Covid some workers might choose
To wash down their lunch with some booze
But the workers have fled
And the streets are now dead
So some vintners are now bound to lose

plenty round baggot street may not recover unfortunately. Reillys was great for a pint and a chinwag with the barman.

At times like this I find there’s one critical question that needs to be asked, and that’s how much do they charge for a pint

5.50 is fairly decent for the heart of the city so I think they should get an bailout
