I agree, you’re born with the face you get and you die with the face you deserve, be that sour puss , crinkly smile or odd plastic,
it’s sad we live in a society she feels too frightened to embrace a certain beauty that comes with aging gracefully

′′ To have attractive lips, speak kind words.
To have a loving look, look for the good side of people.
To look skinny, share your food with the hungry.
To have beautiful hair, let a child cross it with his own fingers once a day.
To have a beautiful poise, walk knowing you’re never alone, because those who love and loved you accompany you.
People, even more than objects, need to be fixed, spoiled, awakened, wanted and saved: never give up on anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a hand, you’ll find them at the end of both your arms. When you become old, you will discover that you have two hands, one to help yourself, the second to help others.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, in her face or in her way of fixing her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the door open to her heart, the source of her love.
The beauty of a woman doesn’t lie in her makeup, but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the tenderness that gives love, the passion that it expresses.
The beauty of a woman grows over the years ′′
For all her money, you’d think she’d spend a bit on getting a top of the range surgeon to do the work, rather than the myopic amateur she paid to do that to her.
I disagree. Look at Nicole Kidman peak botox. Waxy looking skin, muted expression. It screams fear, desperation and self-absorption – not a good look IMO.

Of course you’re quoting from the Times. You neglected to quote however ‘A Sinn Féin spokesman said on Monday party members “absolutely” did not require permission to speak to gardaí, here or abroad, and that the party had frequently called on people with information about the murder to come forward’
… the fact that he even asked to check is indicative of the cult-like levels of control exerted by SF over its members; can you honestly imagine a member of FF or FG, or Labour or the PBP going to check with their party hierarchy before assisting the Gardai on the cold-blooded murder of a Garda?
of course maybe it’s not that surprising that their members would not be sure of the party’s line on murdering Gardai, given how one of their elected deputies went to pick up a man who had murdered a Garda as part of a different robbery upon his release from prison.
I don’t really get the point you are trying to make with that link – do you want me to post a list of past and current SF members and their various crimes? It could take me a while…

What they say they do in public is vastly different to what they actually do and expect.
True story. Relation of mine was a local indie councillor and a while back joined the faithful. In public he 100% toes the line. In private to his nearest and dearest, he rues then day he hooked up with them. Unlike Hotel California, he can neither check out let alone leave.

What they say and what they do is in every party. George Lee’s tenure in FG didn’t last long once his eyes were opened to political reality. Stephen Donnelly’s tenure in the Social democrats is another example of what goes on.
Your true story – does that relate to him joining SF, or does it refer to him joining the IRA. I’ve heard that was the situation if someone joined the IRA alright.
But there have been people leaving SF, as with other parties. Peadar Toibin, David Doran, Paul Hayes to mention a few. What’s that about neither check out or leave?

You’re on your hobby horse (SF) yesterday and today. Quick enough with a link to a newspaper which isn’t that fond of anything other than FFG.
However, yesterday (when your ‘SF bullying’ post didn’t take off once it was shown that FFG are pretty good at bullying their own members) and today when your attention was drawn to a member of FG who was found guilty as in the link above, you try to give the impression that it doesn’t count.
Sorry, I forgot that you only accept news from local Facebook groups, Mumsnet, and Sputnik.
It’s very regrettable and wrong that any bullying would take place within any organisation; however, any allegations of bullying in any other political party are nothing on the scale of that of SF – two years ago, a full 13 of their councillors quit and claimed to have been bullied.

Here is a quote from a SF presidential candidate saying that bullying is a problem within her party – though of course this refers to party activists bullying a rape victim, rather than one another.
