Last night.

US Democratic National Convention.

“At a time like this, the Oval Office should be a command centre. Instead, it’s a storm centre. There’s only chaos. Just one thing never changes — his [Trump’s] determination to deny responsibility and shift the blame. The buck never stops there.”

Either she’s eyeing up a run in future (which she claims she isnt) or she’s doing it on behalf of her husband.

Both Michelle and Barack have a huge media deal with Netflix due to their popularity. She is well able to speak her mind.

OJohnny here is referring to the disgusting transphobic and racist ‘conspiracy’ that Michelle Obama is really a man, propounded by Qanon and other right-wing charmers. Lovely people, aren’t they?

          1. Janet, dreams of big guns

I thought he was just being sexist and implying for a woman to be strong and have great leadership qualities and communication skills she must be ” like a man “, that you can’t possess these qualities as a woman.
I hope he doesn’t have daughters if that’s the case.

          2. Janet, dreams of big guns

I wasn’t referring to them, I was referring to your comment, if you have an opinon on someone it doesn’t give you a free for all to be sexist ,
but I have seen you insult people here and call them names completely unprovoked,
so maybe that’s just the kind of person you are.

when you learn how to understand what you read and respond in a comprehensive manner maybe we can try this again,
as I mentioned in another thread I won’t be engaging in the bowl of spaghetti you pass for communication any more.

          5. Nigel

Oh there’s sexism there, too – large black women are really men in disguise, or trans women in some varitaions, apparently. It’s also a way of emasculating a succesful black man like Obama. Yes, they literally think she’s a man, it’s not figurative, and I don’t recommend you go looking for it, it’s vile, but commonplace with the online right.

          6. AKA Frilly Keane

            Same here Janie

But I’m inclinded to recognise what Nidgie also suggested as it doesn’t surprise me in the least that that is what is coming out of those groups he mentioned

          7. OJohnny Keenan

Nigel encouraging your husband to drone attack and essentially murder innocent people are doing a lot more than taking the Michael.

          8. Nigel

Alleging that Michelle Obama is a man is a fairly odd way to criticise Barack Obama’s drone strike policy. Almost as if you don’t really give a toss about drone strikes (you don’t see much about CURRENT US drone strikes I wonder why) but scurry to hide behind it when called out on the vileness of yoursexist, racist, transphobic slander.

(On edit – also a very odd way to criticise Obama’s immigration policies, certainly avoids anything substantive in terms of numbers, conditions, classifications versus current numbers and conditions and classifications, as opposed to a throwaway right wing talking point, as with the drone issue. Well the drone thing is just jealousy on the part of the right, tbh.)

          9. Nigel

‘On the part of the right’, OJohnny. Are you on the right? I didn’t think so, but who knows?

      1. Hector Rameriz

President Obama hasn’t once explicitly criticised Trump, one would have expected after four years of chaos he would. But he wants to run with the hares (be seen as holding the tradition of not being one to criticise another president) and chase with the he hound (have his surrogates do it).

Plus, how did ye all know I was talking about Michelle, I never mentioned her in my original post.

        1. george

Former presidents tend not to spend their time having a go at their successor but he has criticised Trump several times,

Trump was well behind in the polls last month but he is gaining momentum and within a few points of Biden, the DNC cringe fest over the last 2 days will push voters to Trump

Throw in the upcoming seismic revelations/indictments due from Barr and the DoJ (October surprise)

It is shaping up to looking like 4 more years for DJT

    1. Nigel

Are they finally coming? Boom? Pain? The Storm? Arrests? Lock her up? Quite the bit of brinksmanhsip there. Hope they haven’t left it too late. And too little.

(Also the idea that cringe has a negative effect in US political theatre seems counter to the way US politics seems to actually work. They love their cringe. They elected a reality show host as president, you can’t get cringier than that.)

    2. Scundered

Trump is an absolute freak but he’s certain to win again, the currently silent majority who don’t fit in with the latest nutjob left wing ideologies, will swoop an easy victory. And the left wing media left scratching their heads again, confused to why the result wasn’t the same as the social media echo chamber.

      1. Nigel

‘Certain?’ Pretty sure we heard this silent majority nonsense beofe the mid-terms. Trump supporters are a lot of things, none of them silent.

If I were you I’d be more worried about the insane right wing ideologies that got Trump elected, and the strange belief that ayone who doesn’t believe them is not entitled to a voice or a vote or representation. As opposed to the nutjob left wing ideologies like access to health care and action against climate change.

        1. bisted

…crooked Hillary lost the election…she was well ahead in the polls and enough people decided not to vote…Trump was elected by default…

          1. AKA Frilly Keane

It wasn’t his policies that won it for him Nidgie

Trump filled the void / vacuum that Big Ticket Dems created with their Clinton heavy Obama administration
A void that was populated by millions of voters that the DNC delegate captains forgot even existed, because their own snobbery only allowed them sneer, rather than see.

My suspicion, now, as I post this,
is that November is going to be even more mortifying for the Democratic Party

With all their talk and promise of Progressive Policies, Diversity, Inclusion, Responsibility in Office, Equality and Social Equity, and their unrelenting attempts to sell the quack notion of being the party of engaging and appealing more to the Younger – and apologies for this lads, Woke, Younger Millennial Vote

The best they can put in front of people is Joe Biden

Bernie Saunders was nothing more than a showground barker for the Democratic party

America knows it can’t do any worse under DJT

          2. Nigel

The disconnect here is just so weird. The Democrats are doing nothing particularly awful or unusual, with a set of moderate policies, and an attempt to appeal to a broad base – nothing that isn’t US campaign politics as usual. The Republicans are pushing a set of extreme right-wing policies that aren’t popular with the majority, openly rigging a systen that’s already rigged in their favour, embracing authoritarianism on the grounds that the other side is literally illegitimate, with a weirdly charismatic populist leader.

They are not the same. Here, everyone can have a go at this:

Do you think the pandemic response will improve under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly-elected Biden?

Do you think poor people’s access to health care in the US will improve under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly elected Biden?

Do you think there will be ANY action against climate change under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly elected Biden?

Do you think the atrocities taking place at the Mexican border as a result of Trump’s immmigration policies stand any chance of being stopped under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly elected Biden?

Justify your answers with more than just shrugs and dismissals.

I mean what, truly, was mortifying for the Democrats in November 2016? Endless wall to wall coverage of Clinton’s emails and that last minute Comey leak? What had that to do with anything other than the success of the Republicans, with help from assorted troll farms, succesfully pushing a non-sttory? What’ll the equivalent be this November with Biden? Ukraine again? Nah, it’ll be something even stupider than Clinton’s emails, and everyone’ll shake their heads because the DNC tried to appeal to millennials or something while social media will be flooded with deep-fake images of Biden sticking a straw in a baby’s brain to suck up adrenochrome. It’s bizarre that in 2020 people are still blaming the Democrats for what the Republicans do and what the Republicans have become.

Oh and the Democrats didn’t create a void, either. They voted a black man president, and Trump was elected as much because of the racist backlash as anything else.

          3. Pat Mustard

“Do you think the pandemic response will improve under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly-elected Biden?”

Biden can’t string a sentence together, what makes you think that his response would be better than trump or anyone else’s?

“Do you think poor people’s access to health care in the US will improve under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly elected Biden?”

30 million uninsured under Obama/Biden care, what makes you think a win for Biden will change that?

“Do you think there will be ANY action against climate change under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly elected Biden?”

What exactly are Bidens climate change policies? he’s never announced them or taken any questions on them from the lapdog press..

“Do you think the atrocities taking place at the Mexican border as a result of Trump’s immmigration policies stand any chance of being stopped under
            a) a re-elected Trump or b) a newly elected Biden?”

Before asking that you should muse over Bidens previous crime bill which focused on locking up as many black people as possible for petty misdemeanours.

” while social media will be flooded with deep-fake images of Biden sticking a straw in a baby’s brain..”

Love the way you left out the creepy real images of him touching up children at cabinet inaugurations, and the weak response he gave to very real rape allegation from a former staffer.

          4. AKA Frilly Keane

The Dems were mortified that Trump bate Hillary Smarty Pants Clinton

How Hillary is still able to show her face is a mystery to me
but shur that’s probably just me

What I mean by the void/ vacuum was the working two / three job Americans that the Democrats themselves profile / segment as “the Fly Over States”
Or the “come from towns that don’t have book stores”

That’s sneering and elitist, no matter how many colours of the rainbow you aim to represent

And if they were any different today, they’d have spent the last three years finding someone better, younger and more dynamic a Leader than Joe Biden

The worst and more dangerous of all the Candidates for the two White House vacancies is Mike Pence

And the Democratic Party have make no real attempt to change the White House
Or even throw everything they have at a decent challenge
Or to give the American Voter a decent option

          5. Nigel

Losing a presidential race has never been a reason for a politician to go into hiding for the rest of their lives before, until Hilary Clinton lost to an opponent who was and is completely sui generis. Why is that, I wonder.

There are so many unexamined assumptions here, including whether a young dynamic candidate would really be the best choice over a popular vice president who served under a popular president from the point of view of people who have to campaign across an entire country, not just the online bits of it full of young people who have never reliably come out to vote.

The supppsed sneering elitism seems is a typical right wing smear, too. Funny how the right can get away with saying the most appalling things about people who live in cities (which is where most Americans live), but the Democratic contempt for rural voters is comlpetely taken for granted even though it exists almost entirely as a kind of self-reinforcing myth.

So many things are just accepted as truths even though they come from the right, who still retain a weird position of gravity and authority in people’s minds even as Trump parades around right in front of our eyes to show us how much they really value truth.

We’ve had three different Governements this year alone in the Republic of Ireland

So, on a day to day, operationally and governing level, tell me one from the other?

          7. Nigel

PM – right wing talking point about Biden aside, a stunned ant could organise a better response than Trump did.

Biden/Obama worked actively to provide coverage for more people. Trump works actvely to take it away. Provide. Take it away. Provide. Take it away.

Biden has effectively endorsed the Green New Deal. Meanwhile, Trump has opened up ANWR to oil drilling.

The crime bill was a disgrace, but irrelevant as to whether things would get better or worse at the border for children. Under the Obama/Biden administration, a photo of unaccompanied children went public and provoked a response to ensure the welfare of the children. More recent photos of children in cages encouraged the Trump administration to put more children in cages by seperating them from their families.

            Yup, absolutely no differences there.

The Creepy Joe, rape allegation and mental fitness approaches aren’t really going to be effective for a Trump campaign, though more antics like showing off how he can too drink glass of water would be fun, so I expect they’ll be mainly relegated to angry online edgelords taking a break from sending rape threats to women

          8. Pat Mustard

Possibly, but Joe is demented, he can’t organise an interview from his own basement without losing the train of his thought, mumbling or lazily returning to the host.

Biden has not endorsed any green deal, and you know it. And as vp under Obama, he oversaw ramped up drilling, that’s a fail for you Nigel.

Your correct, the crime bill was a disgrace and locked up needlessly a whole lot of black people for petty misdemeanours, a lot of them were in california where ag kamala Harris was only too happy to assist. All the while not jailing Steve Munuchin for embezzlement. That’s another fail Nigel.

And deflect all you like from his creeping around children and raping staffers. It only makes you look like an misogynist apologist.

          9. Nigel

You have a pretty broad and inclusive definition of demented, but only when it comes to Biden. He has effectively embraced AOC’s Green New Deal. Simple as that. Under Obama he supervised the creation of many environmental protections to ensure clean air, water, and hold polluters accountable, all of which Trump has dismantled. He thinks climate change is real. Trumpdoes not, or just doesn’t care, who knows. Trump campaigned on bringing back coal ffs. As for the rest, not sure what point you’re making. Your vague insinuations of corruption fade into insignificence compared to the open corruption of the Trump administration. I doubt the prosecution of white collar criminals is going to improve under a Trump second term. I mean, Jesus, he is one.

You attack on a man for a bunch of possibly misleading photos and one rape allegation that seems to have fizzled out is at odds with your acceptance of another man with too many rape and sexual assault allegations against his name to count on the fingers of both his hands. Funny that.

          10. Pat Mustard

So he hasn’t taken up any green new deal, and he hasn’t any policies on climate change. Thanks for confirming your initial fail.

And thanks also for confirming your misogynist apologist label by undermining a credible evidence based rape allegation, and the clear video footage of squirming kids and women at the cabinet inauguration. Shame on you.

          11. Nigel

Frilly, imagine if the Ulster Unionists were a major political power here, and your only other option was FG.

          12. Nigel

            Yeah, whatever you say, Pat.

‘Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face. It powerfully captures two basic truths, which are at the core of his plan: (1) the United States urgently needs to embrace greater ambition on an epic scale to meet the scope of this challenge, and (2) our environment and our economy are completely and totally connected.’

Hmm. I’m sensing there might be a better chance of action against climate change from a Biden administration than a Trump administration, unless you have any counterexamples of environmentally firiendly policies or actions on climate chage from Trump?

Oh, and Pat, if there is photgraphic or video evidence of some sort of sexual assault, you should report it to the police. I hear the guy in charge of the US Department Of Justice might be open to bringing charges against Biden, if given the chance. He seems fair.

          13. Pat Mustard

‘Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face. Meaningless platitudes trotted out plenty of times by Trump. Biden has no policies or record on climate change. You haven’t flipped that fail I’m afraid.

” if there is photgraphic or video evidence of some sort of sexual assault, you should report it to the police. I hear the guy in charge of the US Department Of Justice might be open to bringing charges against Biden, if given the chance. He seems fair.”

Like I said, misogynist apologist, and throw in hypocrite on top aswell.

        2. Scundered

Nigel, incase you’ve been in a coma for the last 20 years you should at least be aware that the call for freedom of speech is by right leaning politics. It’s the left who want to remove your freedom of individuality, pushing cancel culture, and instead view you by group identities, and sell you fantasy Marxist utopias, for anyone dumb enough to absorb it.

          1. Nigel

You must literally be walking around in a coma if you think the calls for freedom of speech from the right are genuine – look at how Trump and the Republicans currently embody some of the other other loudly proclaimed right wing principles like family values and respect for the rule of law – that the right doesn’t have their own version of cancel culture far more savage, long-runnung and entrenched in society, and their own deeply embedded loyalty to their own identity politics, and theiy’re selling a shining dystopia of extreme concentration of power and money at the top, to anyone dumb enough to think that’s awesome, becasue thent hey’ll be protected from the fantasy Marxist utopia of access to health care and action against climate change.

          2. scundered

That’s quite a big pair of blinkers you wear. This healthcare package you talk about must not include mental healthcare when you push for a side that supports zero diversity of thought, so good luck with that, I hope you get a free unicorn when signing up for indoctrination.

          3. Nigel

The Republicans, or the right in general, have succesfully indoctrinated you to think that access to health care – including mental health, no less – is the equivalent of a unicorn, and that the right supports diversity of thought.

          4. scundered

Which Marxist country would you rather live in Nigel? Name me one
Even the segregated area created in downtown Seattle was testament to how your vision actually works, people were murdered and businesses ransacked (of all colours and creeds). A power grab emerged because guess what, humans are tribal and in their souls they don’t actually believe in equality as they demand hierarchy, everything you ever done at school, at college, at work was to see how unequal you are to others, to find out your skills and your place in a hieracrchy of attainment. So don’t try and sell your garbage that you think a totally level playing field is even possible, in that case what would be the point of ever trying to achieve anything in life? Or are you just unskilled in all things and need a help up, trying to legislate your way up the ladder?

          5. Nigel

I want to live in a country where poor people have access to health care and which will take action against climate change. Other preferences include access to education and strict oversight over the sorts of financial institutions and corporate behaviours and political cronyism that keep crashing local and global economies – in fact just crack down on white collar crime like Thor’s hammer. Republicans have you persuaded that stuff like this is Marxism. You poor thing.

          6. scundered

Have you tried North Korea, how’s it going over there now? Bottom line, capitalism isn’t perfect by a long shot, it creates big disparities in wealth, but the freedom is there for you to achieve if you desire so whatever rung of the ladder you are born into, whereas Marxism removes the will to achieve anything and the evidence so far shows that the poor populations in capitalist countries are a lot better off than any marxist. There is no magic money tree

Even the BLM directors openly admit they are well versed in Marxist ideologies, would you like me to find you a link to them stating that?

          7. Nigel

Yes, North Korea, famous for access to helath care, education, environmental protections and stamping out white collar crime. You actually think a country has to turn into a North Korea to acheive those things, or will turn into a North Korea if they try to acheive those things? Right wing propaganda is such a bunch of hysterical fear-mongering.

I don’t think you have to be a Marxist to think that the police should stop murdering black people, I think it’s possible to have political views other than Marxism to think the police should stop murdering black people, and if some of the people who believe that the police should stop murdering black people are Marxists, I’m not going to suddenly start thinking the police should go ahead and murder black people.

          8. scundered

Its got nothing to do with race as plenty of whites die too, it’s to do with crime and black gangs are way more involved in that so you would naturally expect a higher result per capita, do you think the cops should just ignore the places where crime is worst?

Over 70% of young black men grow up with no father figure which is a tragic thing (around 40% for whites) but thats the root cause of it and its cultural, cops responding have to be armed as they operate in a country filled with guns and people who are armed, fancy your chances with a catapult?

To fix the problem realistically you need to enforce the importance of the family unit, and the current left wing rhetoric is actually destructive to the idea of the traditional “nuclear family”.

Here are your heroes recently calling for a militia, absolute nutjobs
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqWGlLKCxE8&t=2s

          9. Nigel

No, I think you have to hold police accountable and demilitarise the police and stop overpolicing black areas and targeting black people and, if you’re concerned about the family unit, stop locking up black people en masse for minor and non-violent offences. Of course the right in the US have elected Trump, and in the UK Johnson, so neither accountability or family values seem like things that are important to them, not that they ever really were, but that doesn’t stop them, and you, lecturing black people about them when black people coplain about being murdered by cops.

Calling for a militia isn’t ‘nuts’ in the US, it’s a long and proud tradition, enshrined with their ideas of freedom and patriotism. Oh, sorry! Only for white people.

          10. scundered

So you support this BLM movement so… by the way that was at Oxford in UK, that lady attended Oxford university. It’s a call for violence.

Considering that violence never solves anything, more violence isn’t the answer, all you are doing is creating a race war, none of your ideas address the root of the problems which are multilayered

How many people will stay in the cops if they have guns removed, in a society filled with guns. have you even thought about any of this for more than a minute?

          11. Pat Mustard

Who wrote the crime bill which locked up way more black people than any amount of cops, Nigel?

          12. Nigel

Violence never solved anything, but it’s often an unfortunate by product of the process of trying to solve things. Like with the police, whose ability to use violence as a means to an end you entirely approve of. The idea that the left is somehow stained by occurrences of violence, while the right is entirely pacifist and violence free, is obviously laughable.

Demilitarised is not the same as unarmed, but the prevalence of guns in the US is indeed a problem of violence, andf I can’t help but note that the calls for any sort of sensible gun control aren’t coming from the right. Also I can’t help but note that many of the black people murdered by the police aren’t armed.

          13. Nigel

PM – so you agree black people face institutional racism when it comes to policing and the justice ystem and the US and therefore support Black Lives Matter?

          14. scundered

Nigel, you are confusing “the right” with the cops, the cops are not some political force, it is made up of all races for a start, besides you still havent addressed the issue of how cops should enter crime scenes when the public are armed with guns. Get with reality please

          15. Nigel

I didn’t say ‘the right’ were ‘the cops.’ Support for the cops at this time is comng from the right. Protestations are coming from the left. You said violence doesn’t solve anything. In the same comment you supported the right of the police to use violence.

(I do not myself oppose police use of violence in theory, so long as in practice it is used with restraint, proper training, oversight, accountability and with the safety of citizens prioritised.)

  2. Junkface

If they really wanted young people to vote Democrats they should have given AOC more time to speak. They basically muzzled their younger representatives, that could hurt them in November. The DNC still refuse to take on board any criticism to communicate better with young working class people.

Oh sorry i thought Clinton was keeping a low profile due to his association with Epstein and all the flights he took to paedo island.

I thought that meant that anything this crazy evil man said was irrelevant.

It obviously isn’t and i am so sorry sorry sorry #Ignoreland.

    1. Nigel

Who on the Republican side is in a position to criticise the DNC for giving a platform to an Epstein associate?

        1. Nigel

Hey I wouldn’t give him a platform if it was up to me, and I sure as hell wouldn’t support a president who also associated so closely with Epstein, and other unsavoury parties.

          1. Nigel

Caught red-handed with an entirely right wing conception of silencing: a rich and powerful man who has not actually been sienced.

        2. Jack Of Ireland

Clinton is a total sleazy, and the free ride he is given in Ireland is disgusting. You would think that Democrats seeking to win over Republicans would distance themselves from Bill Nd hillary as far as possible. Was Bill not the no1 visitor to that island in terms of visits.

      1. OJohnny Keenan

Ooh! its about DNC and Republicans and stuff.

Nothing at all about the welfare of children, or sheer and utter hypocrisy.

Thanks for making it seem real and important.
Yeah i really hope Biden and VP Top Cop get in now.

Thanks to what Clinton has to say about the ‘childrens future’.

The changes the Democrats are going to make by helping small businesses over corporate/government interet. Dont forget buz words like climate change and rural development over wallstreet and foreign policy.

With civil disobedience on the rise those big prisons will need more slave sweatshops.

Can’t wait for a new American deomicratically elected president from the democratic party, endorsed by Bill Clinton.

Thats exactly what the world needs to hear right now.

Go on, continue, like this election actually means anything.

        1. Nigel

Yeah, i doesn’t mean anything. Trump spent his entire presidency not undioing non-existent environmental, financial and consumer protections and reforms and taking away health care for poor people and if re-electwd will most assuredly not contnue doing more to strip protections and allow corporations and industries and financial crooks to loot and pillage, while the election of the man who was vice president when many of those protections reforms and access to health care were put in place is in no way likely to at least restore them.

Such a difference between the two is utterly and totally and completely meaningless to OJohnny over here, therefore has to be meaningless to everyone, particularly the poorer citizens of the US. To say nothing of the appalling immigration policies which helped get Trump elected, oh the welfare of all those children on the border! What a future they have under Trump! Sorry, kids, OJohnny wants to crush whatever sliver of hope and reiief a Democratic administration might afford because he prefers the candidate endorsed by Putin! Eections mean nothing so lets let the actually cartoonishly evil guy win!

          1. OJohnny Keenan

Not once did i endorse Trump. Nor do I.

Im just questioning democracy via Democrat supporters.

          2. OJohnny Keenan

            Never claimed anything.

Apart from the fact some people have no sense of humour when it comes to great timing of a joke.

          3. Nigel

Sometimes a thing can be a joke and also not funny and also like watching someone take a dump on the floor. But still a joke.

        2. AKA Frilly Keane

plenty of hypocrisy to go around it seems

I’m gonta blame the masks depriving lads of oxygen

so tis hardly worth mentioning that tis the Dems that have effed up the latest Trillion bollor (intended btw) fed payroll dig out
          And in both houses btw

When things – or if I suppose, ever return to normal, Bernie and Nancy Pel will have some hiding to do

          1. Nigel

Hypocrisy isn’t really the problem, or even a problem. The Repulicans transcended hypocrisy and left it far behind a long time ago and are accelerating straight to authoritarianism. You can note hyocrisy, sadly, as it goes rushing past, but it is not the problem.

          2. AKA Frilly Keane

While I was – and sorry if this wasn’t clear,
I was referring to OJK’s claim of hyprocricy in others

But now that you mention it

All main stream big party politics and actual output, versus their campaigns, promises and spins
When they win office/ form a Government etc
            fall on hypocrisy

And while we prefer to gorge on US/ Hollywood style political discourse, we actually don’t need to look very far for that ourselves

  4. george

Broadsheet still not mentioning that Trump wishes Ghislaine Maxwell well. I thought Bodger was following Epstein related news very closely. It seems very strange to miss this detail especially when he did it the second time.

  5. Janet, dreams of big guns

Bodger could you please let this person know I am and always have been Janet on this site and in real life, that’s my name ( well sometimes in real life Big J or Foxy Lady ) and despite Johnny’s paranoia ( possibly brought on by copious amounts of weed…) I only post under one Avatar ever, Janet I ate my Avatar which is currently Janet, dreams of big guns ( and honestly with the claptrap one has to listen to, who could blame me )

      1. AKA Frilly Keane

        Just to be clear
Janie/ Janet is well known to participants and viewers of BS.tv
And a regular into the Chat Pit
as well as to Broadsheet regulars
She is also one of the most loyal BS.tv supporters since E1

On a personal note, Janet has been a great friend and comfort to me when many of ye here looked the other way.

There has never been any doubt that she is, and always has been Janet followed by an eaten Avatar; or whatever the prevailing weather brings. And only Janet.

And having been on the receiving end of this person’s moods and aggression previously, in fairness I should have stepped in here earlier, sorry Janie, stuff got in the way

        xV

          1. Janet, dreams of big guns

I actually was getting confused as to them being the same person, Johnny off the telly and the masked guy who showed the black lives matter marches in NY. The association with weed possibly. Makes sense it’s not the same person.

          2. AKA Frilly Keane

            Just to be clear
Johnny Green was that guy coming the BLM live that night

the other Johnny is, Johnny Keenan, who is, it must be said, also an advocate for Cannabis

          3. Janet, dreams of big guns

so this Johnny Keenan is the lad who was often on the telly with you guys with the little dog , I must say I’m really surprised, always so polite on the telly

          4. Brother Barnabas

it looks like johnny keenan is suffering the sharp end of johnny green’s prolonged arrogance and aggression, in fairness

JK, imo, is a decent and fair fellow

          5. Janet, dreams of big guns

I apologise if I have gotten my Johnny’s mixed up or if one is impersonating the other, it’s very hard to follow.

          6. Janet, dreams of big guns

at least I can say hand on my heart that I have never had a comment deleted for being overly agressive, misogynistic, unjust, gratuitously name-calling or sexist, or for using poor judgement, no matter how much I disagree, no matter how much people think it’s just the internet, I wasn’t brought up to play silly beggar games, to act like an animal and disrespect other people or myself in the process.
I have had one comment deleted for using a word for ladies funbags that was deemed inappropriate and that’s it,
for the record integrity, transparency, kindness and honesty are the things that should be seen more of around here and less of the rude tantrums our Johnny’s seem to deem adult behavior.

          7. Brother Barnabas

and that absolutely shows, J – you are by far the most empathetic, kind-hearted and genuine commenter here

    1. Papi

Johnny is terribly lonely now that his buddy is gone, so he is doing the virtual version of pulling your pigtails to get attention.

      1. Janet, dreams of big guns

someone should tell him it’s never a good idea to start something you can’t finish
