      I think they all do.

That’s the reason Golfgate went ahead.
Everyone focusing on the fact they broke the rules attending.

Not the fact that the majority of them were in their 60-70’s and weren’t afraid to attend large gatherings.

I know 30 year olds that are more scared of this virus than them.

i think that’s down to arrogance. The kind of people who become TD’s and are from theose parties tend to firmly believe they are above everything, including an indiscriminatory virus. They’d be hobnobbing with each other thinking they are above it and wouldn’t ever get it as they are a different class.

          Nah man

If these guys believed they were in danger, they’d be hold up in their houses, under the covers with 9 masks on them.

          They wouldn’t set foot outside.

            Honest truth.

            I don’t know.

            But something stinks.

I’m personally trying not to get dragged down the conspiracy theory routes, but the more inconsistencies and crazy stuff I see – it’s getting harder not to go down that road…

Oh and when I say “conspiracy theories” I don’t mean 5g, QAnon rubbish. ;-)

I’m thinking more like, complete overreaction by a government that has painted themselves into corner and now trying to be seen to be doing anything, anything at all.

Something to get the public back to normal. While maintaining the narrative they did the right thing by imposing a harsh lockdown.

i know what ya mean. im a bit partial to the idea of something not right, but defo not 5g Bill gates rubbish. Like the virus is real, and so on. But the ruling classes seem particualry unphased by it, considering theyre terrified of poor people, immigrants etc., its weird that they arent scared of this. i still think it might be a bit of arrogance. hard to know really.

He is being found out as quickly as Shane Ross was – maybe even quicker – and that is saying something.

Has he anywhere else he could jump ship to?

After the Fine Gael leadership Richard Bruton/Enda Kenny vote, with the two camps perceived to be divided along urban/rural lines, Enda’s vindication was also announced outside to the waiting press pack by TD who announced ‘this is a victory … for men who eat their dinner in the middle of the day’…

Yet again, different cheeks of the same ärse.

McEntee on RTE 6 o’clock news the other day said something about ”blah blah…the health minister, which is currently Stephen Donnelly…” a nothing stumble or a sign that his removal has been discussed and is only weeks away?

      1. broadbag

No, but could see them using him as a pawn to do their bidding and then booting him up the arse as a sacrificial lamb/dope and then washing their hands of all his terribleness.

How long would you have to be in the role to qualify for the pension for life? I’d say there’s plenty of politicians out there with a neck like a jockey’s bollix who’d be happy to take it on that basis.

        Can I say bollix?

Food items have to be distinguished from drinks on receipts to ensure the correct VAT is being charged. So yes, the existing receipts should be sufficient. If you bought a burger it says generally says “burger” and if not it will say “main” indicating a main course therefore showing evidence of a substantial meal.

    He is correct.

I sometimes have a couple of starters as my main. Am I or the establishment I’m frequenting breaking the law?

      1. george

Obviously not and that’s not what they would be looking for. They are going to be looking for a pattern of evidence that demonstrates that customers are being served alcohol with food and if it isn’t there then there will be an issue for the pub.

The following tweet I saw sums it up well:

We don’t keep proper account of who is waltzing into the country, their viral condition or their keeping of quarantine. But we will keep a record of what they are ordering for their tea? By their mixed grill we shall know them.

And that has been the strategy right through this whole thing- the airports remained open while keeping a jackboot on people’s faces- now they are torturing the children.

      None of it makes sense.

What can you get in my local for 9 euro?
Duck Spring Roll or a small bowl of chicken wings. My local’s a hole that shows the horse racing all the time.
Burger’s 15 notes and it’s terrible. Some boozers are offering decent meals for 9 euro, mine’s not one of them.

What sort of idiot is he ?
They have gone a step too far and now it’s too late

By next month unless they cop on they will need the army on the street
