Not going to say anything about your pal Bozo’s marvelous performance today on camera old boy? Sounded quite confused to me. No matter, as long as he is ahead in the polls, that’s all that matters. Marvelous.

        Nat ah’ tall

what that report in the Indo omitted to include to
IBRC liquidators Kieran Wallace and Eamonn Richardson
        was of KPMG

So when it’s their turn on the block
EY lads will also conveniently fail to bother to find anything

and feel free to swap PWC in and out there as well

          1. Vanessanelle

            Shur I dunno

if there was any they’ve enough going between them all to absorb all sorts of virtual wallops

            worst case
EY probably didn’t get any HSE work over the last few years – but the Central Bank might want someone to fill in for Eisner Ampner now for a bit

And They’ll probably pick up a bit from a few Deloittes exs as well

and they’ll all go round and around again

Throw Deloitte into the mix as well. They served as Auditors to the FAI for 23 years and saw nothing to concern them.

As a keen observer of the futile and absurd, Beckett said it best:

“Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”

Too many in Irish public life just accept this as a challenge. And on and on we go…

          1. Vanessanelle

            Yeah ya know what

Nobody else had a problem with the FAI having the same Auditors for 23 years either

Yes, absolutely, Deloittes should have automatically stepped down on year 7
and give one of the other three a go there for a bit

Their Sponsors, their Board and especially their Treasurer, Dept this and thats, PAC
            THE MEDIA ffs

Should have called Deloittes out long before the FAI were paying for John Delany’s birthday parties

Meanwhile, Dr. Marus De Brun has been pointing out how profitable positive tests can be for GPs.

“Why are the ICGP the IMO and so many GPs silent?

Depending on how one plays the Covid game, just two covid cases, brings in a potential E270 per day. That’s E1350 per week.

There is a lot of money behind every positive test.

More tests, more cases, more political control.”

If you look at the number of positives you can see that the number of tests doesn’t correlate to the number of positives.
e.g. in June there about 2,900 tests per day…with 20 positives
in July there were about 6,500 tests per day…with 22 positives.
in August there were about 6,670 tests per day…with 31 positives
in Sept there were about 11,270 tests per day… with 236 positives.

The rise in number of tests does not align with the rise in positive tests.

Such a pity to see the charred remains of the former Convent of Mercy in Skibbereen. The fire comes a week after Cork County Council granted planning permission for its redevelopment. Curiously, despite its derelict condition the convent does not appear to ever have been listed on either the cash-strapped local authority’s vacant or derelict sites register.

Rotten luck for its new owners, too.

level 3 restrictions mean nothing. if you wanna see how much they work look at the numbers in Dublin since they came in.. rising.

Meanwhile, it today’s reverse ferret instalment of the Dublin is going to benefit from Britain’s Brexit woes story …

‘ Google is to lease an additional 70,000 sq ft in office buildings close to its £1 billion (€1.1 billion) new UK headquarters in London, despite telling all of its 4,500 UK staff that they will be working from home until at least July 2021

The move comes after Google scrapped plans earlier this month to rent a building in Dublin with capacity for 2,000 workers. It said it was “committed to Ireland” but did not explain the decision. ‘
