Initially funny but then terrifying that a chissler is coming out with the term “fake news”
E'Matty
nah, it’s actually inspiring that even a child now knows that RTE is a fake news propaganda channel.

She’s clearly been put up to it by daddy for clicks and views.
Nice work dad, shoving words and opinions a child can’t fully understand into her mouth just so you can ‘make a point’. But clearly dad sees her as an extension of himself and therefore its totally fine.
Andyourpointiswhatexactly?
Yup. I didn’t find that cute. She’s a pup, and encouraged to be one.
Janet, dreams of warm feet
how are you finding the school experience there and the other mammies ?;)
Andyourpointiswhatexactly?
School is great. She’s in Montessori as they don’t start primary til they’re 6.
There’s little to no interaction with other mammies. It’s a GINORMOUS school so there’s no faffing allowed. Nearly 4.5k students.
Brother Barnabas
not how I imagined f-lawless looking
Janet, dreams of warm feet
call me old fashioned but this brat holds no charm for me, in my world, a what… ten year old, doesn’t TELL her Dad she is going out
broadbag
+ a million, send her to her room if she doesn’t like it!
Bertie Theodore Alphege Blenkinsop
She’s brilliant, I love it.
Ballybough I reckon :)
Janet, dreams of warm feet
ye can keep her ;)
Charger Salmons
An absolute delight.
An intelligent young lady with a patient and playful father.
Of course she’s too young to remember the 2nd Lisbon Treaty climbdown by the Irish people so still retains a youthful rebellious spirit.
Janet, dreams of warm feet
keep the intelligence, drop the attitude, just an example of how people are taught to discuss their views, see a lot of it on here ;)
ok ok, I’m off to get coffee and lighten up while I mutter ” no child of mine “
Bertie Theodore Alphege Blenkinsop
Gladly.
As the father of an exceptionally argumentative 9 year old, I think she would knock the corners off him!
Janet, dreams of warm feet
:) each to their own, I can’t be dealing with argumentative,
discuss yes ;)
maybe my attitude is coloured by the fact I think Irish kids are wild in general :)
Bertie Theodore Alphege Blenkinsop
Spirited.
My kids are all argumentative and I’m delighted that they stand their ground.
Janet, dreams of warm feet
:)
Janet, dreams of warm feet
well as long as they don’t wreak your head at bed and meal times I’m sure you have a happy balance , don’t get me wrong, kids should definitely be free to question decisions and understand the reasoning behind them , I think it’s her delivery that puts me off :) can’t warm to her…but I’m not a morning person either
Brother Barnabas
in fairness now, J, I’d say you were a mouthy young one (meant in best possible way, of course )
Janet, dreams of warm feet
would you believe I was brought up very much children are seen and not heard, I wouldn’t have looked at my Mother the wrong way never mind answered back, I’d have got a wack of the bible for my troubles :)
I think my parenting style was moulded by small Parisian apartments, out spoken french people’s opinions if your child acts up in public etc…happy to say I’m MUCH more easy going than my mammy and always explained any decisions and discussed them not something I was afforded :)
Janet, dreams of warm feet
interestingly she is an auld soft touch as a granny
Janet, dreams of warm feet
I’m a mouthy auld wan to make up for lost time brother ;)
Clampers Outside
Nobody prepared me for this possibility.
My wee man, 18 months now, was in the shops with his Mam and as they passed a 3ft Santa, in between two reindeer, he stopped, stared, and leaned in pointing at Santa determinedly saying… “No! No! No!”.
… No idea what that’s about, said his Mam.
What’ll be like at 19 months!? :)
Janet, dreams of warm feet
haha,
Janet, dreams of warm feet
no is every two year olds favorite word :)
rominick
More sense than the general population.
Police state
Andrew
Touch of the stage school brat about this. The Da hoping it goes viral. It’s quite cynical really, nothing ‘chaming’ about it. She’ll end up on the Toy Show reviewing a book no doubt. Eventually presenting the six o’clock news.
Do parents video everything now?
scottser
yeah, i wonder about people who put videos of their kids online. who needs the hassle of other people’s judgements, and why would you subject your children to them?
Janet, dreams of warm feet
true

Nail on the head Andrew.
Bertie Theodore Alphege Blenkinsop
Couldn’t disagree more.
You can’t train a kid to act like this in demand, she feisty and opinionated… I think she’s brilliant craic.
(though i would never post a video of my own kids)
Janet, dreams of warm feet
well it had to be something,
all great lovers fight over money, sex or parenting, if you are really unlucky all three lol
Bertie Theodore Alphege Blenkinsop
TBH, if you’d told me that Millie and I would be arguing over a redhead kid I’d have assumed there’d be maintenance involved :)
Janet, dreams of warm feet
tee hee
Junkface
Pretty funny kid, God love her. Very cheeky for her age, that’s towny kids for ye, they’re good craic though. She’s picking up that ‘fake news’ line from one of her parents. “I don’t like this news story, it must be fake.” I’d say they are somewhere near Dolphins Barn or SCR, didn’t the 123 bus go there?
Bertie Theodore Alphege Blenkinsop
I think it’s Ballybough / Poplar Row maybe because of the community centre reference
Cian
Irish Government: “these is a pandemic and you need to restrict your movements.”
Irish people: “I wanna go out ‘ cause I want to!”
Also Irish people “everything is de gubbernments fault”
SOQ
Well what is happening in the Nursing home in Galway right now certainly is the government’s fault.
broadbag
Couldn’t watch more than 20 seconds of that, she’d wreck your head, I blame the parents, she didn’t lick it off a stone etc… he obviously thinks she’s great craic.
I miss the days of ‘children should be seen and not heard’ far too much pandering to them these days results in this kind of back chat, in my day you were told once and that was that, kids knew their place, now a lot of them are borderline feral.
*grabs walking stick and shouts at kids to get off lawn*
Janet, dreams of warm feet
you just made me look mellow ;)
Janet, dreams of warm feet
a lot of my Irish friends are run ragged, exhausted constantly arguing with their kids just to get through the day, everything is a negotiation, rod for your own back, some friends I have learned only to go over after bed time…not that they stay in them lol
millie
By that comparison, I’m very strict. Bedtime is 8pm on a school night and there she stays, no sweeties unless she’s eaten healthily over the course of the day and done her homework. When compared with some of her friends I think I sound like an awful mean mammy. Young miss gets away with nothing, the poor dove.
Janet, dreams of warm feet
you’re my kind of mammy :)
the amount of kids who can’t hold a knife and fork, talk with their mouths full and have toys at the table/ jump up and down from table at meal times, don’t eat it and then get biscuits half an hour later cause they are hungry, worse eat in front of TV, climb all over the furniture, interrupt parents constantly, need to be asked ten times to do what they are asked half arsed and generally make the house look like a war zone which to my eyes and ears it is …rant over ;) No wonder the schools are still open lol
Gabby
Is this child exploitation for party political purposes? Depends on the party and the party politics.
…she has you outnumbered Michael…one to one…
