He has a point, some of them are indeed repulsive. In unrelated news I never thought I’d see Dee Wall and Mary Mitchell O’Connor side by side but 2020 really is the year of surprises.

There’s a likeness alright. Incidentally, I thought Dee and her mentor, Gemma, took the view that the Tuam babies in the sewage tank was all a hoax.

A pack of lies if memory serves

which doesn’t actually fit with what some of her early supporters posted here
and on the BS.tv chat pit, about me, and my engagements with members of the Tuam Survivors Group

          But hey, whatever sticks huh

You seem to have opened that twitter account as an anti- Gemma O’Doherty one. You use ‘no hate’ as a logo. A kind of stalking?

          1. ACI Question

An archive of her offensive statements, should anyone be foolish enough to back her for any kind of elected office. Again.

That I also go through her bins every night could maybe be construed as a form of stalking, I guess.

Dee is in trouble for threatening Miggledy. Hopefully the poison dwarf and her superfluous crutch will get a short spell in chokey.

I don’t understand why those were the only two choices. I presume there were lots more choices but they lacked the guts or integrity to do the right thing.

I think previous legislation already set the 30year sealing of the report after the enquiry had concluded.

This bill just ensured that the materials could not be destroyed after the enquiry had concluded. It didnt seal the contents, it didnt unseal the contents, it didnt do anything.

I’m not sure why they couldnt have unsealed it also – but I know there was a deadline to the get the current bill over the line else those involved in the enquiry could have jumped the gun and destroyed certain files.

The poor libs are tied up in knots here. They don’t know who to kick so they go back to kicking Fianna fail. But Roderic??? We defended you! But Michael D?? We elected you!! And patriarchy?? We rejected you!

I wish people would actually take the time to understand what is going on. Sometimes things take more than a tweet to explain. Harrrumph!!

  4. ACI Question

Unfortunate that the footage chosen for this post includes Dolores Webster, last seen ranting on O’Connell bridge about the racist ‘great replacement’ conspiracy theory, as she’s the very definition of the person mentioned by Niall Collins.

It’s a disgrace that these files will be locked away and most of those at the protest yesterday were there for the right reasons.

Maybe remove that Youtube clip or replace it with something more appropriate ?

At the anti-lockdown march last Sunday, they were all using this as another reason to complain. The right are learning from the left. Using every opportunity to stir discontent and spread fear and anger. So get used to your new traveling companions. You, Dolores, Justin, Gran, Dee, Colm, Tara, Una, Gemma.

You’re all on the same side finally!

      1. ian-oh

Considering I won’t be going to jail, a mental institution, libel hearing or on a march with a load of the unemployable, blame everyone but themselves class, not sure how they would be my travelling companions?

I’d advise taking a look at some of Dolores Websters posts on Twitter. Anyone who thinks she is not in need of an intervention is either incredibly cynical or unwell themselves.

Absolutely pointless the lot of them.

        1. ACI Question

She’s full of beans, if nothing else!

If she wasn’t spouting racist conspiracy theories half-the-time then I’d say she was harmless, clearly loving the attention and the few quid she’s made from online donations.

          1. ian-oh

Everyone is calling her a gowel and worse and maybe she is, but to me, she looks like she is struggling hard so not going to make fun of her, but some of her fellow travellers are just looking to cause trouble and latch onto her because she is the one with the megaphone it seems?

Its a desperate situation all in all and despite my misgivings, I have to feel sorry for her.

          2. Vanessanelle

            You’re probably right there Ian-Oh

and if people bothered to see who a former Presidential Nomination seeker had in her supporters group at some of the Councils
They’ll be the first to admit that this lady, Dolores Webster, is the least egregious of them
She might be the loudest, and more visibly active, but she’s certainly the most harmless
            IMO anyway

I tell you what he came to my museum once and nearly broke my hand with his handshake and I’m no wilting violet, complete overkill, maybe I shouldn’t have worn the heels that brought me to 6ft…. muahahahahah

  5. ACI Question

‘Mask’ protests breaking down along right/left lines blows my mind.

It’s been interesting watching ‘the right’ broaden it’s church in a similar matter to the ‘the left’ and it’ll be just as interesting seeing how those in control will manage that coalition. Framing anti-mask protests as a ‘pro-freedom’ argument is fairly easily done but when the next speaker starts shouting about super secret plans for Bill Gates to kill us all with his deadly vaccine so we can be replaced by the Chinese…

  6. H

Okay, I’m confused, this is the first time I’ve heard anything about the ‘original’ plan to destroy all the records and sealing them being the only way to preserve them. This sounds like the kind of thing that those in favour of the bill would have been shouting from the rooftops a week ago to justify their stance….
