‘Allocated The Resources Of A Murder Investigation’

at

This morning.

Llewellyn Court estate, Ballinteer, Dublin.

The scene outside the house in which the bodies of 37-year-old Seema Banu, her daughter Asfira, 11, and her son Faizan, 6, were found on Wednesday.

Via RTÉ:

Officers have been in contact with the woman’s partner and father of the children, who is distressed and has been given access to medical treatment.

The results of the post-mortem examinations, which are ongoing, will determine the course of the investigation, but the case has been allocated the resources of a murder investigation.

Gardaí have appealed once again to members of the public not to circulate speculation on social media. They described this as “uninformed and unhelpful to the criminal investigation”.

If you mean the public reporting on Twitter, the public are not in possession of the facts. Let the official investigation proceed and the official media channels report the findings. Everything else is idle speculation, unhelpful and potentially damaging.

While posted on BS with the comments turned on.

    Am I missing something?

We seem to be missing the usual suspects eager to apportion cause to lockdown, mask wearers and social distancing.

Because these sort of tragedies were unheard of before 2020.

Anyway, RIP to those people, such an awful thing.

But true, someone already alluded to that being a potential cause on another post regarding this tragedy and I have seen it multiple times on different twitter threads. So you might think its low, but its true sadly.

I have never once speculated on the cause of this or anything really, except to express my sorrow on the matter, so if you are angered then its misplaced toward me.

          :(

you’re just as bad stoking the fire here, one could be forgiven for thinking you were trying to get a rise …not the time/place either imo

          ”not the time/place either imo”

I can’t seem to find that sentiment for those who did try to politicise this tragedy.

Although I will give you the benefit of the doubt and presume you just didn’t see them?

I saw them but you’re the one bringing it up again and equating those concerned with suicides as necessarily anti mask.

          2. ian-oh

So you saw people jumping to presume these people died as a result of lockdown related suicide and that was OK, but my mentioning is verboten? Fair enough, we all have our points of view on these things.

Lets just leave it here so and not engage anymore, k?

          3. ian-oh

Fair enough, I take that back and am not going to argue with you on this anymore, we all have our particular views on this, I got annoyed with people, you got annoyed with me, so lets just put it behind us if that’s alright with you and enjoy our weekend.

            :)
