Everyone knows who the real Taoiseach is & he’s untouchable, beyond reproach.
Fine Gael are also essentially the party with most power and influence. Foreign Affairs, Finance, Justice, Trade.
    AND skyrocketing in the polls.
Dev is turning in his grave, although O’Cuiv is poking his remains with a big stick.

Erm. Not exactly sky rocketing in the polls.
On a slow decline since the glory days remember and kept more kids homeless and hungry than anyone else.

Fair enough, not skyrocketing but rose earlier in the year, and maintaining their position while FF have been dropping markedly.
Not a fan of either BTW.

The polls here are utter garbage. Pollsters cherry pick areas where polling data is taken to get the desired result.

An ‘easy mistake’? The Ceann Comhairle, the Leas-Cheann Comhairle and Catherine Murphy TD have also made the same error today. Anyone making a public delivery in the Dáil, which is broadcast live on TV, should take care in noting the title/rank of the member they are addressing. Pretty basic stuff.

        Indeed, even worse.
Did any of you here on this forum ever prepare a speech or a presentation? Did any of you married males at your wedding breakfast refer to your wife as your girlfriend, or your mother as your father?

Going by today’s manure show in the Dáil Chamber, we have bladderers and charlatans making it up as they go along. Catherine Murphy TD dithered and sought words, Paul Murphy TD was rude and fake-authoritative, and Leo spoofing like a schoolboy saying the dog stole his homework. We are more amused than angry, because the Irish media are so drugged up on US political events that they haven’t the will to capture what a mess our own government is in.

Lads he was Taoiseach for 36 of the last 40 months
And he’s one who wasn’t off the airwaves for the last six of them

This latest bitta craic has about as much horse power as the scruffy copy of internal notes he snuck home for one of his pals has

It’s been spun so much ye’re all dizzy
    And he’s after falling off
