About as transparent as the Village scoop.

This has been so cack-handed from the start on the part of the Village culminating in a set of “new” revelations about further meetings that they proclaim “may or may not have happened”. Lol
That then unleashes tweets with photographic evidence showing that some of these meetings patently could not have happened and basic denials by ministers in a blithe and unperturbed way.

The problem is taking Chay “Russia Today” Bowes’ scoops egged on by Paddy “Twisted Messiah” Cosgrave as gospel.

Very easy then for Leo to crow “fake news”.

          1. MME

Don’t know where you are getting “dolt” and “inbred from.

Also, Giggidy said it was an “honour” to be called a Shinnerbot, so I don’t think that can be seen as a slur.

      1. GiggidyGoo

Ah haaaaa. So good that you copied and pasted it. ROFL. And still keeping away from the confidentiality aspect.

Looks like Michael Martin is suffering from Mitty-ism. Must be a cork thing. https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/politics/taoiseach-deletes-tweet-wrongly-suggesting-he-spoke-to-joe-biden-39730239.html
(Tweeted that he had “just finished a very positive chat” with Joe Biden, only to quickly remove the tweet, as he hadn’t spoken to him at all. The pantomime is almost complete)
Double-bill tonight. Varadkar – The Squeakuel & Miquel the Mitty.

It just gets better and better.

        1. MME

Ha! I am definitely NOT winding you up. ;-p

“It just gets better and better”, well, except for you. Ain’t that the truth!

Have you got the Champagne on ice (or Fosters? what do Shinners drink?!) to toast Leo’s downfall.

Or maybe you have to grab your cape and dash off to… how did you put it…, “keep the country running”! Guffaw, chortle and ROFL.

I give meaning to your day, you know Giggs?!

I don’t even want your thanks. Just better come-backs.

          1. MME

“These meetings may or may not have happened”.

            Put down your pitch-fork.

What time do you start “keeping the country running”?

You are very important Giggidy. BS is blessed that you are able to devote so much time to the comment forum, even when are “keeping the country running”

            Wow.

            Just wow.

          2. GiggidyGoo

Ah sure we’re up against the childish section again. mammy surely has your tea ready. Eat up, and get yourself ready for bed. Cian will be back after the debate. You’re alright. There there there.

          3. SOQ

Kind of weird you are not on my ass these days MME.

It probably went something like ‘is it in’- ‘is what in’- did I hurt you’-‘ yes, you stood on my foot’- etc etc.

Homosexual humour- you won’t get it.

          4. MME

You could do with some “tea” too GiggidyGoo. You’re light headed in heady anticipation of whatever it is going on in your head.

Still, when are you going out to “keep the country running” as you proclaimed earlier?

I am humbled that you can devote so much time to replying to my very serious posts.

        2. MME

@SOQ – you know when to stop unlike GiggidyGoo. I haven’t really engaged with you since the time you claimed to be a 6’4″ gay man coming in at an ungainly 17 stone. As it’s an anonymous forum, I put it down to nonsense. Lol. If you are gay though, I don’t get the whole Trump support but ultimately I don’t care. You are also tongue in cheek and I don’t think you take it at all seriously. (Is that a gay joke?)

          Very otherworldly BS these days!

        3. MME

Come on GiggidyGoo – both you and I know that the “leaving cert” riposte was very poor. You can do much better. I thought you live for this stuff.

This will get you fired up: “Sinn Féin do not appeal to the better angels of our nature… they seek to arouse the darker spirits to make their case… a deeply cynical politics they have practiced for too long” – Give me your considered view of this. Go on…;-p

    1. Morning George

Which meetings patently could not happen?.Leaving aside the unsubstantiated denials by those involved or connected to those involved?

      1. MME

Many of the claims made about Varadkar [in screengrabs published yesterday] were trumped up or simply made up. Of the ten ‘meetings’ with Ó Tuathail he was actually Brussels twice, Barcelona on another, out of Dublin, or otherwise engaged on government business.

        1. Morning George

Yes.His boyfriend mentioned he was in Brussels for one of these meetings/drinks.Surely Leo could ask somebody in Brussels to verify this.To take Leo or his boyfriend at their word would seem a bit daft.

    1. SOQ

Is catching then clearing ‘da plague’ not way better than a vaccine?

Hair loss is usually associated with rapid weight loss of course.

      1. Dr.Fart

you can contract the virus more than once. Sure Bolsarano the Brazilian president caught it a whopping three times!

    1. goldenbrown

yeah sure old chump, here’s some up to date information for u:

“Biden delivers Brexit warning to Johnson in post-election call”
      https://www.ft.com/content/8c533029-5e5e-418b-9d1a-03ef38a4de07

now although I have no time whatsoever for Mehole (the dual mouthed kukk that he is) there’s a very likely reason for that deleted chitter post – inadvertently it contributed to handing ze GOP (poor sore and sensitive daisies they are) a little oxygen to get into accusing Biden of violating a thing called the “Logan Act” which is a loada pity party nonsense

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan_Act

Charger, you can dress up your fears about Biden as much as you like now but your hero Bojo is in a very tricky play now, it’s about as “painted himself into a corner” as you’re likely to ever see in politics, the dunce

      lol

    2. Rosette of Sirius

“A No 10 official said Johnson and Biden had “talked about the importance of implementing Brexit in such a way that upholds the Good Friday Agreement, and the PM assured the president-elect that would be the case.”

“In the statement from Biden’s team (in the call with Martin), it said he (Biden) “highlighted his desire to strengthen the enduring personal, cultural, and economic ties between the United States and Ireland.”

      Irish heritage indeed.

As for Bojo? Well, sounds like he’s been set straight.

  2. Anti Bots

Goo, where are you paid from? Ireland or the UK? You seem to being doing a hell of a lot of work for what? A leader who was owned by Pat Kenny? Bobby Story – go on tell us the faux outrage re idiot judge and the leader of a supposed Irish party attending a terrorist funeral in Belfast during lockdown? You might need clearance from Belfast to answer this one?? Or else just express faux outrage.

      1. MME

What?! I should have known GiggidyGoo. So I am not the only one who gives you life and keeps you going?

Betrayed. I’ll bet you are known far and wide on anonymous online fora. And there was I thinking that it was just me whom you could blame for your online omni-presence.

        Utter betrayal.

  3. GiggidyGoo

Just picking myself up after that comedy.
    Something…something….Covid…..
    Something…something….Brexit…..
    Something…something…something….SF
    Something…something…yes he did wrong….something….but I have confidence….
Something….something…climate change…….something….where’s the rest of the greens?
    Something….something….something…foreign country….oooops

Varadkar can kiss goodbye to any Europe callings, or any notions of some position with the UN. Once a leaker, always a leaker.

Next up – Paul Murphys complaint to the Gardai

    1. goldenbrown

hm, you seem to be unaware of the fact that Labour + Soc Dems are also very interested in Varadkers dodgy dealings that he got caught out over

or do you have some some glib Pat Kennyesque quip reserved for them also, for the bitta balance like lol

      1. wearnicehats

Give me a couple of similarly self righteous comments from Labour and Soc Dems that match the level of hypocrisy of SFIRA with regard to transparency and I’m sure I’ll be able to oblige.

  4. Kate

If you tuned in to the vote of “No Confidence” this evening & not familiar with LeotheLeak , you could believe that it was SF in the dock The standards in government really can’t sink lower. The people voted for change & display of arrogance and diversion is fooling no one.
