    Welcome back Jeremy Corbyn.
Suspended for about as long as a quarantine period needed after a trip to see his old Hamas terrorist chums in Gaza.
Just like Labour’s anti-Semitism problem he hasn’t gone away you know.

This is an Irish site if you hadn’t noticed clown man. The Daily Express site would suit you down to the ground if you would like to post there. You can commend Donald also when you’re there, they’re big fans of him too. I can’t decide whether you or the DE give me more laughs.

      1. Redundant Proofreaders Society

Look at his bait – two Irish papers and nine British ones today. Corrie, Vicar of Dribley and “the footie”.

    2. Brother Barnabas

reinstated because absolutely nobody – including you- believes corbyn is in any way anti-semitic

one of the more grotesque smear campaigns in british politics

        1. E'Matty

Charger – you have a problem with Corbyn meeting “terrorists” like Hamas, or the Iranian government or the IRA. He met these groups each time to progress the move towards peace. On the other hand, the Tories have been funding, arming, training and directing the worst wahhabist headcoppers in the world for almost a decade now in Syria. Your guys have been backing Al Qaeda and a variety of Salafist groups to further their regime change project (which has thankfully failed miserably). Ironically too, Hamas was established with the support of Israel in the 80’s to act as a divider of the Palestinian people and undermine the dominance of Fatah and the PLO at the time. The British and their allies have for decades used extremist Salafists in the Muslim world to divide the people and undermine opposition to British criminality in the region. Indeed, it was British power that installed the Salafists in Riyadh, who have been the prime funders of extremism spreading through mosques and madrasssas around the world. The Saudi Royals share the very same ideology as your British Royals. “You can always judge a man by the company he chooses to keep …” Yes, you can and whilst Corbyn engaged with others for peace, your guys engage with the very worst people in the world as allies for war, rape and pillage.

        2. Brother Barnabas

when it’s in a professional capacity, not really

boris has associated with some proper deviants in his time, hasn’t he ?

          1. Charger Salmons

I have a huge amount of time for Jezza.
Without his monumental stupidity in demanding an election in 2019 and not backing the Brexit referendum result he delivered Labour’s worst result since 1935 and an 80-seat majority for Boris.
His deliberate refusal to act against rising anti-Semitism in his party compounded by his refusal to accept the outcome of EHRC’s damning investigation into it makes him the equivalent of the accomplice jailed for a killing even though he was only the getaway driver.
Sir Kneelalot has a big problem, not least because by remaining in Corbyn’s government when Jewish MPs were resigning in protest and faced vicious bullying he was the person who helped provide the stolen car for the getaway driver.

          2. Brother Barnabas

I’d agree that corbyn is politically naive (or perhaps just too idealistic) – that’s unfortunate from Labour’s perspective but its not a crime. he’s not an anti-semite.

        3. Junkface

It’s like a married guy who just keeps hanging out in gay bars. He’s not gay, he just likes the atmosphere and Kylie’s music. He doesn’t tell his wife though. He really, really likes the atmosphere!

      1. Junkface

Are you serious? Corbyn is most definitely an anti-semite. Did you not see the clip from his hearing where they list every single person he has met with from extreme anti-semite points of view, mainly from the Middle east and Iran? It was ridiculous. These people were not just anti-Israel on the military side, they have stated reasons why Israel should be wiped out repeatedly. I mean Hamas alone should be a worry.

        1. GiggidyGoo

Yes – but how many, say, tory members, have met Jeremy Corbyn over the past 5 years at meetings, in the hallways of Westminster, and elsewhere? Does their association with him mean that they, too, are also anti-semitic?

          1. Junkface

He flew all over the world to lay wreaths at the graves of terrorists who murdered Jews. Sound lad, NOT an anti-semite.

            Ha ha! Get a grip

          2. Rob_G

            @Repro – I don’t think your example holds up.

Roderic met one time with one guy who is a famous gay rights campaigner, who also has made some obscure questionable statements in the past; Corbyn has time and again met with well-known terrorists, anti-semites, and their fellow-travellers.

If it was Trump who had one meeting with… I don’t know, some white supremacist leader or something – I don’t think you would be so blasé about it. And certainly not Brother B, who would quite possibly have an aneurysm.

          3. ReproBertie

Not sure what you’re saying Rob.

Roderic met the guy once and was attacked for it years later by some of the same people who are here saying Corbyn meeting people doesn’t mean he shares their opinions. That’s the only point I’m making.

        2. E'Matty

and because he met with them that means he has the same opinions and attitudes as them? Do you think Martin McGuinness was a British Royalist for having met the Queen, or that she was a Repiblican terrorist sympathiser for meeting with him? Also, being against and condemning the actions of the Israeli State is most definitely not anti semitism. Indeed, orthodox Jews oppose the establishment of he Israeli State which they believe should not have been established until AFTER the second coming. Are they anti semitic? You do also realise that the Palestinians are semites too, right? Personally, I don’t particulalrly trust Corbyn who I see as possibly being a true Fabian i.e. a wolf in sheeps clothing. It’s just ridiculous the lame attempts to conflate meeting with people with sharing their views.

        3. Brother Barnabas

          yes, I’m serious

I’ve met with hundreds of anti-semites, homophobes, racists, and more in my time – I’m none of those things

          means nothing

          1. Junkface

You’re not the leader of the Labour party UK.

Did you not see the BBC Panorama doc about anti-semitism in the labour party?

            Fairly damning stuff

        4. paul

just want to poke a quick hole, being anti-Israel doesn’t directly relate to anti-semitic. You can hate what Israel is doing and have no problem with Jewish people.

          1. Junkface

I agree. Nobody would agree with Israel and its army breaking international law over Palestinian land, but what was going on in the Labour party was much, much more than that. Jewish members were made to feel unwanted, harassed, excluded and eventually pushed out.
There is a problem with the far left and anti-semitism. Even in the USA, it has creeped in on the far left.

      2. bisted

…you have to give a hat tip to the zionist campaign to conflate support for their apartheid regime with anti-semitism…nowhere has this been more successful than in England…does their demonisation of Corbyn mean that the Tories, with their stonking majority, do not have anti-semites in their ranks?

        1. :-Joe

          +100%..

Peter Orban for Channel 4 Dispatches about two decades ago did a great job showing the outskirts of the idealogically zionist led apartheid anti-Israel / Jew lobbying infrastructure for influence and geo-political security over the tory scum party in britain. The situation is the opposite of improved.

Al Jazeera recently did an under-cover investigation and recorded the Israeli embassy and mossad related operatives going about their daily nefarious manipulating of political campaigins and the system. It’s all up online recorded on video and stil on youtube afaik..

The fact is Corbyn would not play nice and geneflect to the zionist regime.. always on their radar for being a peace-broker and human rights campaigner and dissident of zionist policies against arabs but his serious problems began when he kicked the zionist lobby out of young Labour in britain… Never a problem for young tory scum party.

It was that move that started his downfall long before the tory wannabe war-criminal, tory blair and his blairite tory supporting scum faction still in the Labour party were undermining him even before the 2017 election. An election which he came very close to winning in spite of the corruption and it caused an almighty uproar in the obesely corrupt and putridly septic bowels of the establishment.

All of this happened long before the brexit, facederp/CA, the billionaire owned tory scum supporting media, the smear campaign and the shock(to the tory scum party) technoligically hijacked via social media and basically rigged election win in 2019.. It’s an incredible story still unfolding Another very british coup.

The amount of punishment Corbyn is still being subjected to is inversly proportional to the amount of bricks shat out by every single one in the corrupt establishment of the corporate owned, financial elite and neo-liberal economic idealogically-run fake-britain.. and all since he came very close to winning the election in 2017..

After the 2017 close call. the 2019 Labour election manifesto must have caused at least fifty aneuryisms and heart attacks in the house of dul-lords

Anyone calling him an anti-semite is ignorant at best or a delusional dullard worse than a mere average eejit, intentionally or otherwise..

The ones casually and repeatedly smearing him in solidarity with tory-scum party or F-f/g, ‘murican republican idealogy are even far worse.

The likes of blowhard-windbag or gob_r can be used as a reference..
-Junkface, I thought you had some sense.. Apparently not in this case..

BTW, apologies for the long reply here, I won’t waste my time replying to them directly on this issue or Israel vs Palestine etc anymore…

The harder you argue with complete rob-shytes the sooner no one can tell you apart,,,
-You’d expect nothing less from col. windbag to be fair.

          :-J

          1. Charger Salmons

What a funny old world you live in.
Tory Blair.Tory-scum Party.House of dul-lords.Obesely corrupt and putridly septic bowels of the establishment.
Do you speak like this in real life ? It’s like a bad impression of Rent-a-Trot.

          2. :-Joe

            I forgot to add..

It’s almost pointless responding to these special case, uniquely stupid, alpha-prime eejits as discussing, debating or argueing a point of view, opinion is an excercise in futility in the face of their fact free, tribalised, one-dimensional and deluded fantasy version of reality.

Any possibility of focus around proven and accepted facts is irrelevent because eejits like this are predisposed to a state of mind relying only on logic based in self-serving pompousness, arrogance, narcissism, denial, win at all cost mentality.

Add that together with with a tendancy towards an automatic reflexive response to use straw-man arguments, petty name calling and other pointless, boring and mentally or intellectually inferior and immature methods of communicating their sad and pathetic cries for help..

Yes, it’s nothing more than a cry for help. Deep down they are desperate for attention, craving any kind of interaction however meaningless or pointless the outcome for all involved. The typical and consistent behaviour is an unconscious automatic reaction and an unavoidable response due to some form of trauma or traumatic event experienced in their past history.

i.e. Blow-hards, wind-bags, rob-shytes, eejits.. All pretty much the same?.. Well, in some senses maybe but they still need our help. Look past the sheer stupidness of it all and try to see their desperate situation and their deep internal psychosis and the suffering inside as the faint cry for help that it is.

Mommy?.. Daddy?.. The ice-cream fell into the toilet when I was two years old?.. Who knows exactly, but don’t give up on trying to help them and society be a better place for everyone together.

After all, it takes a village to raise a village idiot…

Airbnb’s IPO-just taking a read,IT on Irl. some great data points.
Its once core business of cross border, urban apt rental business is dead, rev has rebounded and is now powered by rural and suburban, short and increasingly long term rentals.

“Against an otherwise highly negative travel backdrop, there are several areas of our business that have shown resilience, notably, domestic travel, short-distance travel, travel outside of our top 20 cities, and long-term stays.”

    https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1559720/000119312520294801/d81668ds1.htm#toc81668_4

    50% drop in revenue,in Ireland.
“Airbnb International, which is headquartered in Dublin, recorded turnover of $1.34 billion (€1.13 billion) for the January to September period, as against $2.6 billion for the same nine months a year earlier”

from inside AirBnb some Dublin data-disputed by co but considered reliable.

“43.4%-multiple listings -A host may list separate rooms in the same apartment, or multiple apartments or homes available in their entirity.

Hosts with multiple listings are more likely to be running a business, are unlikely to be living in the property, and in violation of most short term rental laws designed to protect residential housing.”

an unusual company, most middlemen like Uber and Doordash tend be disliked by users, but Airbnb is hated by non users, neignbours and community boards, etc.

No update on the Virapro hand sanitizer scandal. It’s still being advertised for sale on their website. https://www.maxxcare.global/virapro
A quick €9m flip over two months
Back in October the Dept. Agriculture removed the product from the Biocidal Product Register. At the same time the HSE were reported as looking to get their money back.

Donnelly has been made a laughing stock yet again. Another political career destroyed by the FFGr axis of corruption.

‘ Teachers seek ‘morale boosting’ early Christmas holidays to reduce Covid risks
Union says early finish to term would be morale boost ‘

You have to admire the brass neck of these jokers. They already have some of the longest paid holidays of teachers anywhere in Europe and have spent much of this year topping up their tans in the back garden glugging Sauvignan Blanc.
And now they want a morale boost ?
Do me a favour. You’ve only been back at work a few weeks and the incidences of Cobid-19 in schools is tiny.
Teachers notoriously go into the profession because they’re too lazy or not bright enough to hack it in another job.
    Like frontline healthcare.
If anyone needs a morale boost it’s nurses and hospital workers.

    1. SOQ

What has become apparent is how precious the teaching profession are.

They are quite happy to shop in their local supermarket where workers have been on the front line throughout the whole thing and yet, they, working with the lowest risk demographic in the county, demand special status.

      1. Cian

Children are the lowest risk demographic for getting sick and dying themselves.

Are they lowest risk for transferring covid – which is what the teachers would be concerned with.

      2. Junkface

Classrooms are smaller spaces than supermarkets. Customers come and go, they are wearing face masks, automatic doors constantly let in new customers and fresh air. Classrooms on the other hand can be quite stale, air wise with 25 to 30 students + teacher breathing in the same air. Unless they make efforts to freshen it up.

    2. Nigel

Jesus, it’s just two days, it’s not like they’re asking for millions of pounds to hand over to unqualified cronies to develop vital equipment and services.

  6. Charger Salmons

Good luck to Ireland Nil tonight as they continue their hunt for a goal and that elusive first win that seems beyond our Kenny.
And yes I’m aware England are playing Iceland.

    Heh x Soccer bantz.

    1. Otis Blue

Not that England are pulling many trees up. Also-rans in their group. Three goals in five games and a dead rubber tonight.

      Enjoy.

      1. Charger Salmons

The entire competition has been a dead rubber for England.
Southgate has mainly used it as a chance to give the reserves and youngsters a bit of international experience ahead of the Euros next year.
Ah the Euros – dry your eyes mate…

          1. Junkface

Agreed. I think Southgate is a middle of the road manager. Doesn’t get the best out of some great players available. Tactically, they never do anything effective against the big teams

  7. Charlie

Geoff Hurst’s brain will be kept in a jar til the end of time and will be wheeled out every four years to remind us all of their one and only piece of silverware in football history and how VAR would have made things so very different.

turns out that david frost – chief negotiator for brexit or “biggest little englander” as he prefers to be known – has been privately admitting that the game is up and the EU has won the game of brinkmanship that only the UK was playing…. cummings must be giggling his nads off this morning

        1. Charger Salmons

Yes, I’ve seen the speculation too.
          Early next week they reckon.
I’m adding to my Hargreaves Landsdown portfolio as we speak in advance of the expected bounce.

          1. bisted

…the downside of the brexit fudge for us border dwellers will be the smuggling bonanza will not materialise…last chance for you to dodge North Charger and take advantage of the weak sterling…my mole in Sainsburys tells me they currently sell litres of Gordons at £17 and the 25percent of wine comes back on in two weeks…

..absolute must do,what a fabulous night out, rivaled only by Nobu,Malibu on right evening.

“I just happened to look over and realize hey is that Gavin Newsom, who is that? And I did ask one of the waitresses and she confirmed it was, so I was able to take a couple of photos, I was able to document this especially since nobody was wearing a mask. It was a very large group of people shoulder to shoulder, something that he’s always telling us not to do so yeah it was a bit annoying for sure”, the woman said.”

Nowlan is X NAMA,rock rugby star,a legend in his own lunctime.

    AUGUST-2020

Kevin Nowlan, Hibernia’s Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Despite the uncertain economic outlook our business is in a strong position: our rent collection statistics are good and our balance sheet is extremely robust, with a last reported loan to value ratioof 16.5%.

“This €25m share buyback is expected to be accretive to net asset value per share and earnings per share and will also complete the return to shareholders of the proceeds from the sale of 77 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay started with the €25m share buyback undertaken last year.”

so they bought in 50,000,000 of shares in CASH.

“Listed commercial property developer Hibernia Reit says it will consider selling assets in order to fund the completion of some future developments.
The company has over 500,000 sq ft of space in Clanwilliam Court and Harcourt Square that it expects to deliver in 2025 and 2026.
“We need to look at how we are going to fund that,” Kevin Nowlan, CEO of Hibernia Reit, told the Irish Independent.”

no sh*t sherlock, how bout you stop overpaying for your own shares and artificially propping up the price-50,000,000 of buybacks, what the fook….you’re supposed be a property expert, not a inside trader.

i head the chap who put this deal together is now wearing sunglasses indoors,as his future is so bright.

WTF has FG/FF and the green’s wrought-they have destroyed asset values.

“Goldman Sachs has insisted it sees a bright future for the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in Dublin as it seeks to take control of one of the country’s largest retail venues from US investment giant Blackstone.”

the yanks are going puke all the RE FG/FF gave away in fire sales, depressing pricing for years.
      thanks blueshirts:)

in a healthy vibrant society and economy this just does not happen.

all local tenants should go on a rent strike and ask to lift the corporate veil- demand that the landlord is tax complaint in IRL and the loan transfer had its taxes/stamp/duties paid.

I know there’s been speculation over the succession of the management of The Tyrone Senior GAA Football team. I’m hereby, categorically, BS exclusive – not in the running. (Hat-tip to Cú for all your support at this difficult time.) My hat is thrown in the direction of Feárgal Logan, ’95 All-Ireland Finalist – we all remember how we were robbed that day – Charlie Redmond being sent off, remaining on the field, the fisted ball over the bar by Peter Canavan. Feárgal was two years below me at St. Pat’s Academy, Dungannon in Tyrone – a great GAA college. He’s a lovely fellah altogether, and has a track record with Brian Dooher (Two time captain – 3 All-Irelands) as coaches with Tyrone U21s. The fact that he’s one of the three wise men’s on, “The Sunday Game” cousin, not Pat, not Colm – yeah – that guy! He’s still still got my vote. Come on Tyrone – surely, we aren’t entirely on our own? Also good luck to Donegal and Cavan on Sunday.

      1. Shayna

I remember that Bertie, I thought it was a tad strange at the time. I think, perhaps with his personal tragedies he warped into an unusual character. A couple of months ago he turned up in Omagh on a Saturday afternoon, with his own PA system and led a rosary? I watched a documentary about Lough Derg a couple of weeks ago on BBC NI – As Gaeilge – who was a pilgrim, picked out by the camera? Mickey Harte! I wish him well, undoubtedly the most successful Tyrone manager ever, but hopefully the new manager will re-ignite the spark in Tyrone players to reach Croke Park every year. Tír Eoghain Abu.
