Voting Through The Back Door [Updated]

at

Last night.

Lou Dobbs on Fox Business.

US President Donald Trump’s attorney Sidney Powell said the Trump camp is pressing forward with legal action targeting election officials as they certify the 2020 results in several key battleground states that have been called for Democrat nominee Joe Biden.

Earlier, Powell appeared with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and other members of Trump’s election legal team at a chaotic press conference to allege a plot by his opponents to “rig” voting machines in the presidential election, ‘delivering’ the race to Biden…

“Are you pressing forward with legal action against them for those violations?” Dobbs asked, referring to two specific voting machine companies, Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic.

“Not against the company and the software,” Powell responded. “But the suits will be against the election officials to invalidate the results of the election and force it to the legislatures and the Electoral College and then the Congress if necessary.”

Before the warning, Powell asserted that Dominion and Smartmatic are “inexplicably intertwined.”

Trump allies have also claimed that Smartmatic owns Dominion, but there is no evidence a partnership exists between the two. Both companies say they do not collaborate with each other in any way.

Meanwhile

Ms Powell was asked about servers that were reportedly confiscated in Germany.ook

Lou Dobbs: “There have been great controversy as you know about the reports on a raid on a company Scytl in Germany which held election data presumably… Can you tell what actually did happen there and what you do know?”

Sidney Powell: “Well I know that is one of the server centers. There is also one in Barcelona. So it is related to the entire Smartmatic-Dominion operation. We do not know whether the good guys got the servers or whether the bad guys go them. Being on the outside of the government we simply don’t know. I’m hoping it’s the good guys and if they have that then there should be scads of evidence of frankly an international criminal conspiracy of the worst sort.”

Lou Dobbs: “And the presumption then is that they had the records on those servers of all of the votes that were processed by Dominion or Smartmatic.”

Sidney Powell: “Yes, the way it works is either the votes can be changed on the ground as they come in. People can watch the votes stream in live. For example there was a Dominion employee, high up, at the Detroit Center on the night of the election. He could have watched the votes come in live and manipulated them in that process. It could have run an automatic algorithm against all the votes which we believe is what happened originally and then the machines had to stop and the count had to stop in multiple places because President Trump’s lead was so great at that point that they had to stop the vote counting and come in and backfill the votes they needed to change the results.”

The Irish group Paragon has finally announced the purchase of the Catalan electronic voting company Scytl. It did so through a relevant fact to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) of its other investee in the state, the reprographic company Service Point. With this operation, Paragon guarantees the immediate future of Scytl and saves the nearly 140 workers from the creditors’ bankruptcy that was launched in December last year…

Service Point links the purchase of Scytl and will guarantee jobs (Archyde, October 23)

Legal action after legal action withdrawn or rejected. Georgia recount, done by hand, confirms Biden win.

    Where’s the Kraken Sidney?

Tucker’s piece was hilarious. He believes there is evidence of UFOs and that Rudy & Sidney have no evidence.

  2. Jimmy TwoShoes

That voice and that photo of Sidney. They really do make these Republicans in a lab somewhere.

Also not being au fait with Fox entire stable, is this the sort of stuff the normally talk about on a “business” channel?

I didn’t watch the video but in the quotes above Sidney doesn’t actually confirm that any servers were taken from anywhere. She says there is another centre in Barcelona and that, being on the outside of government they “do not know whether the good guys got the servers or whether the bad guys got them”.

Is there anything more in the interview to back up the fantasy that servers were taken at all? These allegations have, of course, been shown to be false with Scytl saying “We did not provide online voting to US jurisdictions for the US elections. We do not have servers or offices in Frankfurt. The US army has not seized anything from Scytl in Barcelona, Frankfurt or anywhere else” but that doesn’t seem to matter to Sidney & co.

And they’ll prove it aaaaaannnnnnyyyyyy day now. Hopefully it’s not just more already debunked conspiracy theories.

Meanwhile Georgia, Arizona and Pennsylvania dismiss the legal cases.

its a shameful half assed attempt to disenfranchise AFRICAN AMERICANS,cowardly waged in the court of public opinion, preying on low intelligence racist white trash, put up or STFU.

(legal implications for lying in court to judges,is why!)

        Sasse.
“Wild press conferences erode public trust. So no, obviously Rudy and his buddies should not pressure electors to ignore their certification obligations under the statute. We are a nation of laws, not tweets,”
        Mitch.
“It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American President,”

come get your useful idiots and racist white trash elevating this crap, GOP.

That’s why people comparing Trump to Hitler were never quite right, as I finally realised in the run-up to the election. He’s bringing back Jim Crow, building a good old southern-style white nationalist ethnostate

its not just in the GOP,the delays in NY/NJ in passing weed legislation is over big ag/big pharma/big weed wanting to limit home growing, social equity, too many people are dying at moment,to have a commander in chief, unfit for office, rejected by the people deploying the powers of his office to undermine a free and fair election.

the transaction needs get started, people are sick, tired, broke, hungry and getting quite angry,he’s tried people patience enough, already.

“While the cannabis industry is expected to grow exponentially as more states legalize adult-use and medical use, and federal cannabis legalization becomes an inevitably, projections expect the industry to generate $30 billion in sales by 2025. Much of cannabis’ popularity and acceptance comes from the art made by Black hip hop artists, comedians, and filmmakers, breaking down the stigmas of the counterculture movement of the 1960s and priming American consumers to flock to legal weed in the 90s and 2000s.

And yet, only 4.3% of dispensaries are currently Black-owned. Legal cannabis states have largely failed to address the repercussions from the War on Drugs or craft policies that provide equity to Black cannabis entrepreneurs, effectively cutting them out of the market they helped build. ”

‘Presumably,’ ‘could have’ and ‘do not know’ doing a lot of work in that interview excerpt. Good luck in court!

IT’S NOT ABOUT ELECTION FRAUD (it never was)

‘President Donald Trump’s strategy for retaining power despite losing the U.S. election is focused increasingly on persuading Republican legislators to intervene on his behalf in battleground states Democrat Joe Biden won, three people familiar with the effort said.’

Fox news – sure, MOG all day long

but Lou Dobbs isn’t wrong about one thing

the Voters should know who owns and runs the companies that count their vote
That’s all very shady and cynical

    Yer wan doesn’t help –
well I don’t find her convincing anyway

But surely there has to be some Senate Hearings convened to look into these voting machine products,
    How they work?
    How they’re manufactured?
How secure are they, fire walled etc
Who creates the passwords per district count centre
    Who maintains them
Where do they go after this election, do they go on tour say – to another election count centre
    Are they local franchises?

    Who f’ing owns them
    Who controls the company(ies)

and how do they get these contracts – Tender process, vetting, testing
is it like a Military contract and supervised by the Pentagon
    Quality Control standards

The whole Dominion Smartmatic thing might be hooey excuse making to spin and buy time for Sidney there
Even if it is – I don’t care

I’m not seeing enough hard questions about them
    Do ye?

    1. Nigel

I get tired of pointing this out, but Republicans, now using these concerns to undermine the election result, blocked every effort brought by Democrats to improve security and transparency.

    2. D'oh

I’m sure all that due diligence was done and certified before these machines were introduced into each state that uses them. They didn’t just go to the store or Amazon and buy the first ones they saw.

    3. max

John oliver did a piece a while back on that topic very scary stuff
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svEuG_ekNT0

Microsoft actually released some open source election software called electionguard that’s based on blockchain that fixes alot of the above problems
      – Its open source so all manufacturers of voting machines can run the same software, all of the source code can be easily audited by any security researcher and any vulnerabilities patched
-Its based on block chain tech so you can actually audit your own vote ensuring that it has been counted and untampered as well as an immutable paper trail
      – when combined with some form of automated identity verification (phones have finger print/cameras ) you could reduce reliance on mail in votes from citizens living overseas.

As to why republicans dont want an election system thats tamper proof your guess is as good as mine.

      1. SOQ

        Tamper proof?

They advertise functions to batch amend or delete votes as a feature?

The machine themselves have been demonstrably hacked by a number of people to prove the point?

The data in some cases must be transferred by USB between stations and above all- nobody knows who owns the company?

It is as unsecure as it gets.

  6. Kev M

    Bodger?

    Fox news like?
This is Russiagate 2.0 – it’s a fantasy to make up for losing. Trump’s “lawyers” are losing dozens of suits. They are trying to stifle democracy. There’s no evidence, there’s no whistleblower. This is farce now.
