I think it could be the underlying geometry.Image split down near middle with pole.Image cut in half horizontally but also has lines of perspective created by the roof tops leading eye directly towards the middle bottom of the frame where the centre of the subject is also postitioned.The monochromatic split of blue and orange adds to the graphic elements.
