Shield Of Faith

at

This afternoon.

In an update to its Covid-19 guidance on masks, The World Health Organisation (WHO) has recommended wearing face masks when indoors with other people ‘if the ventilation has been deemed inadequate’.

“WHO advises that the general public should wear a non-medical mask in indoor or outdoor settings where physical distancing of at least one metre cannot be maintained,” the new guidance says.

“If indoors, unless ventilation has been assessed to be adequate, WHO advises that the general public should wear a non-medical mask, regardless of whether physical distancing of at least one metre can be maintained.”

Meanwhile…

As for face shields, WHO said they “provide a level of eye protection only and should not be considered as an equivalent to masks” when it came to protection against respiratory droplets.

“If face shields are to be used, ensure proper design to cover the sides of the face and below the chin,” the guidance said.

But surely the whole point of masks was to protect others?

If only the covid could be defeated with dumb attempts at clever questions, you’d be a global hero.

How come most of your posts are attacking other posters, and are quite nasty and ad hominem?
Are you not able to debate the subject matter?

          2. GiggidyGoo

            Glad you acknowledge it’s existence.
So, why are you stalking SOQ and always making ad hominem attacks on him instead of debating the actual subject?

Brave little lady Daisy eh?. I’m sure Nigel is glad of the support. Maybe if both of you put your minds together you might be able to summon up a bit more than ad hominem posts?

And that comment says way more about you than anyone else Daisy.

            Grow up.

The insistency is in the statement if you bothered to look.

          5. Nigel

Googy if I’d made a fraction of the ad hom attacks on SOQ that you’ve made on Cian I might take that question personally.

So, Nigel…why are you stalking SOQ and always making ad hominem attacks on him instead of debating the actual subject?
