Behold: the Cyber Supra – an angular vision of the Toyota Supra in the style of the Tesla Cybertruck and the absurdly expensive Karlmann King SUV.

Created by conceptual automotive design studio FLAT HAT ( a term used by WW2 pilots to describe unauthorized low altitude flying techniques), the Cyber Supra’s radar-dodging polygonal body panels are also bulletproof.

You’d probably want that.

For me, as with the Tesla Cybertruck, there’s something particularly crude and tasteless about explicitly using an imagined cyberpunk dystopia, bulletproofed and all, as your design inspiration. Car marketing and design is directly quite aspirational and lifestyle-orientated, so who aspires to live somewhere like Night City or Blade Runner’s future LA? The kind of person who hoards guns and has fantasies about civil war in the States possibly.
Regardless both vehicles look flat-out hideous to me.

Speaking of that, I just learned that former Bond girl Tanya Roberts has now passed away. So far I have no other details. She was announced dead on Sunday, still alive but ‘it was not looking good’ on Monday.

She was also one of Charlie’s Angels.

      In her honour:

How strange this is. An announcement of her death yesterday, which the publicist had to retract.

Rather tragically followed up today with the actual death announcement.

What a mess for her family. RIP to Tanya.

I agree, truly my heart goes out to them.

Also thanks for posting the links. I for some reason could not post the second one (issue at my end, not the ‘Sheet’s)

RIP, Tanya. Thank you for the years of entertainment.
