    While there’s a whole thread about the RTÊ accounts it may have passed unnoticed that TG4 now has more viewers than BBC2 & Channel 4. 83% of adults watched TG4 last year. Ag dul ó neart go neart!

    UK population down 1.3 million. If it is only Covid, wouldn’t lots of Brits being returning home, balancing out the departures? Another Brexit shambles.

            Here’s my favourite bit – “Speaking to the liaison committee on Wednesday, prime minister Boris Johnson did not appear to grasp the situation facing British touring acts, incorrectly stating that British musicians have “the right to go play in any EU country for 90 out of 180 days” – the EU proposal that the government turned down.”

        Anyone who thinks the Tories ever will or would give a damn about workers rights (amongst many other things) only has themselves to blame when the scorpion stings the frog….

      If the EU were efficient they would have known that Cepol EU dosh intended for Garda training College ended up in senior Garda private credit union accounts. And white collar crime in our country is frankly embarrassing .

    What are the British doing in a 48 hour week? The trend is to shedding hours, France has a 35 hours work week for many years now. How have EU regulations been protecting the British workers if the same rules applied throughout the EU, perhaps GB didn’t get the memo?
