How she keeps getting cast for stuff is beyond me.

    She’s a terribly wooden actress.

She doesn’t get cast for stuff, Millie, she chooses the screenplay and deals with all the other stuff.

      I’m a big fan.

She could’ve chosen roles with Marvel or whatever, but she chose Juliette Binoche in Clouds of Sils Maria and played a Guantanamo Bay guard in Camp X-Ray.

      Love her bravery.

yes ! it’s hilarious and much more authenticity french than the american filtered crap one is usually plied with :)

I’m not gay or a woman, Millie, and I really enjoyed it.

Finished the fourth season last night – was a bit disappointed. The first three seasons had deeper character development and attachment. The new characters didn’t work for me, neither did the plot.

But, the first three seasons are great!

Róisín Ingle would disagree, though, and loved Weaver’s Lindy Hop – but she was probably drunk on gin – with cucumber batons.

Cheer ben and Janet for the recommendation. I’m just finishing up Lupin, which is very enjoyable. I’ll be checking that out next.

Hicham, I get; Mathias, not so much.

            Martel, I liked.

Noémie – loved her comedic expression – carried it for me.

            And mad as a brush!

You could see that some of those naked scenes were not scripted!

            Mad!

            And, very funny!

My opinion can never be DEAD WRONG, Millie – it’s just my opinion, not life and death – you saintly sister, you!

She’s amazing, few actresses could carry a film like Personal Shopper but she did, deeply talented, people who only know her from Twilight might jump to conclusions but as benblack says she makes really interesting choices and is generally top notch.

I’m remembering her from Panic Room and Into the Wild and a few other things – which I’m seeing on IMDB is really her early work – and finding all of her performances really boring and one-note. But I’ll have to take a look at her other stuff and see how I feel about it. Some actors really grow into their acting ability (see Daniel Radcliffe for another notable example) so maybe I’ve been a bit quick to write her off.

It’s the choices she made, Millie, that endears her to me.

She could have gone blockbuster, but went instead for something else.

‘Into the Wild’ is in my top ten.

And, for me, it’s not her acting ability, it’s her.

I thought same of Jennifer Lawrence… particularly after that trilogy Hunger Lames… then up popped herself amazingly in the wonderful movie ‘Joy’.

(I also rolled my eyes at Pattinson playing Batman… but then I saw him in Tenet. He’s all growd up like.)

“The first picture of Transformers actress Kirstin Stewart”

It’s Kristen, and she didn’t star in Transformers.

No worries :) I was just wondering whether you confused the actress or the movie, and it turned out it was a photo of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley instead.

Bruncvik, I read the headline ‘Kirsten Stewart Transforms...’ and stupidly assumed it was a pun of some kidney.
