I, for one, do not think it unfair to wonder why Irish holidaymakers returning from Tenerife are treated as pariahs yet 1500 Brazilians are allowed in without the need to quarantine.
Obviously the country might run low on rashers from the meat-processing plants where these migrants work but I’m sure most people would be prepared to cut back on the bacon sarnies for a while.
Of course if they were PCR tested before and after they came here why can’t the same be applied to Irish people who wish to go on holiday ?

Two things struck out that I thought warranted a copy/pasting…
1. A negative test means you probably did not have COVID-19 at the time of the test.
2. This service costs £120.
Some people call it something else.

How tone deaf are the Gov’t parties to let this pay rise go ahead? I mean they hardly succeed at anything! Housing crisis is still awful, healthcare system is a mess. Vaccinations are too slow. “Sounds like we need another pay rise for a job poorly done!”
They don’t solve problems, they punt them down the road for later.

To be strictly accurate the only person killed was the bomber himself.
Another Irishman who suffered a fractured skull but survived was cleared of any involvement.
He won £200,000 in libel damages after being falsely accused.He died later while detoxing for heroin addiction.
The bus driver was made permanently deaf in the blast.
Remarkably despite this and many other atrocities visited on the mainland by the IRA Irish people living there suffered little discrimination or hostility from their hosts.
