Actually, coming to think of it, haven’t our own bunch of politicians lovely neat haircuts? Odd that their hair doesn’t grow. Or else their partners must all be qualified hairdressers.

Except for Eamon Ryan who’s looking like a thatched cottage. Miriam O’Callaghan has the Dail barber on speed dial.

Boris talking through his back bottom and spewing what the gullible want to hear. Paddy Power not even taking odds on his Hollywood poo hitting the fan. “Spring is on it’s way both seasonally and metaphorically”… Free for all by June. You couldn’t make it up. Sky Sports already announcing all the sporting events that will be attended by fans. Are the UK public really that dumb to believe this? Oh hold on…

Brootal weather today lads but will improve from tomorrow afternoon and throughout the rest of the week. Get out there and inhale those endorphins.

…Melbourne was in lockdown again last week…not knocking it, you have shown how to effectively contain the virus…but you seem to think it will disappear…don’t you think vaccination is required or do you prefer isolation?

          1. Crocodile Dundalk

“don’t you think vaccination is required..”

No. Vaccines have never overcome any disease.

          2. Charlie

Yes but it’s nothing compared to what it could be. It’s under control and would be devastating without a vaccine. There’s a reason kids get that jab. However, while we at it, the Influenza jab has been amazing, as has Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus etc. I could go on but you’d only look more ridiculous. You’re wanted over at the GPO.

Small pox was eradicated in 1980 due to the WHO vaccination program initiated in 1959. Any cases since have been accidental lab exposures etc, but no natural outbreaks.

          4. Junkface

Polio was eradicated from Europe and Africa so far as I know, but still in India, like a lot of diseases. Malaria was also eradicated in many African countries, but not all of them.

          5. Charlie

Idiocy has also never been eradicated. It’s more plentiful than hydrogen. Keep digging that hole Gemma.

It’s hard to understand what this gibberish is all about but usually it’s an attack on Boris.
Boris and his medical and scientific advisers have published a plan to exit lockdown based on a data and dates.
Ireland still waits for the BOGOF Taoisigh to come up with something similar.
Here’s Richard Jacob who owns the Idaho Cáfe in Cork with a few well-chosen words.
It shouldn’t be a restaurant owner having to say them on his website but few in the Irish media appear to be listening to the anger.

yes indeed – it’s what many are thinking and some are finally waking up to now – this Government is weak, inept, incapable of dealing with a national crisis and most definitely not working in unison to solve it

however the likes of you certainly don’t help matters at all

seeking to promote a dangerous narcissist buffoon “on the mainland” on a daily basis?

whose lies and tinkering and u-turning and incompetence has resulted in stunning amounts of unnecessary DEATH with many more dead to come

        you utter tosser

THAT clown continues to make this Govt look good

        1. Charger Salmons

I think you’ll find Boris is remarkably popular on the mainland with most opinion polls reporting the public think he’s made a pretty good job considering the hand he was dealt.
They certainly don’t think Labour would have handled it any better.
The politicians here can only look on in envy, not only at his popularity but the amazing success he has had with vaccines.
I do hope your continued unhappiness with events across the water doesn’t produce any long term damage in your mental health. You seem quite upset for someone who professes not to care.
          Toodles …

          1. Brother Barnabas

“considering the hand he was dealt”

stick with the forlorn attempts at humour, old man, because when you attempt actual analysis, you just reveal what a pedestrian-minded old fool you are

get off your knees and question what they tell you once in a while

It’s not really that the UK public are that thick but that Boris treats them as if they are thick and they lap it up.

They can harp on about vaccination numbers to look good but those are, for the most part, first doses only. Put it on enough papers and the eager public can’t get enough.

I watched the Maddie Mc Cann doc on Netflix a couple of years ago. It just made me even more confused. What a strange case, and very strange work by the local police. They messed everything up!

In conclusion : ET took her

Co. Wicklow – the Boo Bootiful Garden of Ireland.
Donnelly hasn’t a clue of what’s going on.

On the Claire Byrne show last night he categorically stated that talks with teachers are ongoing. He than ‘clarified’ that by saying in a tweet just after midnight, that in fact the talks with teachers had concluded earlier that afternoon.

I’d think that he’d be the ‘Dog ate my homework’ type.

THE END IS IN SIGHT. When a banner headline proclaims that, what do we do?
    a) Prepare for the end
    b) Pray for the end
    c) Drink to the end
    d) Keep calm & carry on to the end
    e) Read books instead of newspapers to the end.

    Brexit,eh ?

” About 1,000 EU finance firms are eyeing up opening offices in the UK for the first time, according to financial consultancy Bovill.

A Freedom of Information (FOI) request by the firm found that 1,500 money managers, payment firms and insurers have applied for permission to continue operating in the UK after Brexit.

Around two-thirds had no prior physical operations in Britain, it said. ”

The EU made their first vaccination errors with their incompetent procurement programme.
But now politicians in France and German are compounding their mistakes by a blatant and petulant trashing of the UK/AstraZeneca job to cover up their catasrophic roll-outr programmes.
Large numbers of people are refusing the jab because of erroneous and completely untrue smears put about by politicians even why infection levels are beginning to rise again.

The EMA, WHO and extensive independent scientific research versus a bloke off the internet.
        Decisions,decisions …

        1. Crocodile Dundalk

Yeah so safe they need an indemnity agreement and in some jurisdictions a whole separate judicial arrangement.

          “Extensive scientific research..”

Yeah so broad they didn’t even need clinical trialling.

          You really haven’t a clue.
